His legs have gone. You're right about the other stuff though, although to be fair you could argue he has other issues apart from his legs aren't up to 90 minutes of a relegation battle week in/week out.

Same deal with Carroll, one swallow doesn't make a summer. We need better, we need them in this window.

“Mark Noble’s legs are gone”

Didn’t stop him bossing the half. That argument gets wheeled out in most bad patches but I never remember Mark Noble the sprinter. Hats off to him today.

Graft, passion and precision passing as (mostly) always

Andy Carroll, I love you. Just when I was starting to look elsewhere he’s right back again.

Hopefully the board doesn't get sidetracked this window. Midfield is where we need reinforcements and that should be our priority, we desperately need backup to the likes of Lanzini and Noble especially if Fernandes being injured. All the talk about Dembele and the Mawsons' of the world can wait till summer. A functioning midfield will do more for our chances of success as shown by today.

Two great finishes by Carroll and a good 45 minutes from Nobes, and another solid effort fro. Arnie .

Generally though simply awful .

Bloody dreadful stuff in the main .

But a wins a win when you are in the wrong half of tge table .

What? Have you no emotions? Do you not live in the minute? Were u not at any moment pissed off with him and what he could have done many a time - but didn't?

But he won it for us....he is forgiven and we all now love him.....that's the way it rolls.

Now loosen up, as no one saw this coming[/quote]

I take your point but before this game I already knew what he was like, capable of **** and capable of that. Not so long since he scored the best West Ham goal since Di Canio. A hit and miss player he is. A donkey he certainly isn’t. Two superb goals. If he was from Canning Town it would be oh so different. Given the wrong service he won’t perform. There are many many strikers who fit that bill. I’m sure Hernandez would be a revelation if we had Payet putting balls over the top. I just think he’s unfairly treated on the pitch by posters, fairly treated off the pitch.

Kouyate was a disgrace tonight. Hid all night, got himself into to positions where he couldn't receive the ball and jogged all night.

What was Ogbonna doing with Rondon as well? He kept leaving him in 20 yards of space so they were breaking on us all the time.

We've got away with a massive 3 points tonight. With the same rest, they beat us tonight. Thankfully, Moyes looks to be trying to sign players who can play football. Joe Allen would be ideal.

First goal. One from the text books - downwards, into the corner!

Genius piece of strategy by Moyes,
Deliberately play Obiang & Kouyate in the certainty we'll have a mare in the first half. Convince GSB he needs money for new players, then when thats done, change tactics and get 3 points.
looking at the big picture..... :P

The highs and lows of supporting West Ham! What has happened to Kouyate? He has gone from being a dynamic box to box player full of energy, to almost a hindrance. He seems to disappear and then gets in the way, very worrying.

Carrols work rate is shocking , he should go back on the bench for Thursday .

Kouyate was poor

Obiang was poor

masuaku was looking to get himself sent off

But we generally looked a better sid ethan West Brom .

Their defece played really well and that probably shut out Arnautovic but going forward they had nothing .

Which is why we just about managed to sucker them out of at least a point.

Spurs on thursday wont be pretty which is why the 3 points today are massive.

A wins a win , so no real complaints!

He seems to have had his feet cut off and sown back on the wrong legs, he can't pass or control the ball anymore.

That was utterly terrible in the Sam / curbisjky / Avram scale of things but a nightly needed 3 points.

Nobes changed the game when he came on. You could see what it meant to him with the celebration of the goals. If the rest of the team have half of his desire then we will be all right.
Kudo's to Andy for two good goals. First half he was toilet but second half much improved.
Arnie and Lanzini played their part aswell. Rice looks a tidy player,I would start him on Thursday .

Apart from Andy's first goal our crossing into the box tonight was shocking.
Kouyate and Reid need to take some time parked on the bench.
