Apathy on the streets of Stratford.

I’m honestly surprised G&S haven’t already offered Dour Davey another 6 months. He’s like Coke to Allardyce’s Diet Coke - you’ll get 4 or 5 pucker games, a couple of “decent” draws, and a whole load of soulless disinteresting **** like tonight.

It’s Curbs Mark 2. Not for me.

That’s interesting comments proph. Personally I thought Kouyate was barely in the game for large parts of it.

I saw some improvement, personally. I have to remember, though, that it was a low-key affair, generally.

Did we end up playing 4-4-2 with four centre midfielders in that second half or did I imagine that?

I think Kouyate has been crap for large parts of the season. But I love him. He had the beating of Pogba all night, with no protection from John Moss. It was crap refereeing that lead up to the incident. Pogba was frustrated by Toblerones efforts and lost his rag. Moss bottled it by not sending off Nobes (fortunately) but Toblerone was definitely in the game.

'Toblerone' cos that's what shaped boots he has to be wearing most games, bless him

Thought John Moss was pretty useless..didn't cost us the game, but I have seen penalties given for Smalling's grappling of Arnie. Who incidentally gets almost nothing from any ref we've had...Sterling, Arguero etc. get penalties and fouls for lots less...there was one on Arfur, another on Lanzini that we didn't even get close to. One for them I think from a good use of his body of Mario on Sanchez. Then the Noble incident..Moss wasn't consistent at all tonight.

I honestly think Arnie is overall hard done by..

Just got back. That didn’t seem quite as bad to me as some are making out. Not a classic by any means and typical end of season fare, but at least we didn’t look as though we’d lost the moment we set foot on the pitch like last week. Mourinho wasting time to secure the draw with 2 subs in injury time. Against us!! Draw against the mancs not to be sniffed at.

Also thought kouyate had his best game for a while. Arthur was pants though.

Time wasting against us is a new low for Mourinho.

I personally enjoyed the game and thought we played pretty well. But unlike a lot on this forum I was actually there. I dont understand all of the negativity on here to be honest. Some just choose to be miserable. Get a life for heavens sake, its only a game of football!

I’m sure most people on here actually watched it, so saw exactly the same as what you did. I tend to watch all the home games either on sky, bt or via stream, admittedly if I don’t see the game then I can’t really pass comment. But it’s the same game if you watch it live on tv or in person, it’s just peoples opinions

I went, and I agree with most on the forum. It was rubbish. Players walking around, once again we show no real intent to attack. We managed 2 shots on target. Man Utd were just as negative, but were stopped from winning by Adrian. Awful game, and similar to most this season.

Honestly, I didn't think it was that bad. I felt it was one of our better performances, and against most other teams we'd have got a win on it. Not an inspiring game by any stretch.

I didn’t see many of our players walking around. There wasn’t a great deal of quality and Arnie was way too isolated - again - but I thought we gave it a go. This was manure, not one of those little clubs we’re supposed to roll over. The crowd seemed vaguely appreciative too, at least around me.

Colours never run wrote:Adrian by far our Man of the Match for keeping us in it and nicking an unlikely clean sheet. Made some quality saves, especially that one with his leg to push Shaws thunder bolt onto the post. Fantastic reaction save after a good one he already just made. And doesn't that just sun up how we play under Moyes, always obsessing about nicking a draw rather than just going more for it.

Arnautovic isolated yet again until he eventually brought Carroll on, then completely overlooks the lad Hugill in an utterly meaningless kickabout effectively in front of your own home fans.
Sounds like with Hart playing, we may not even have got a point..
Christ, we've really got to do something, in this summers window..
That may have been said before..

The last 2 games at home have been utter dross, Stoke (ffs) and Man C, slashing your wrists sort of games. My kids have almost lost the will to live and if it hadn't been for some of our away trips this year we would be throwing the towel in, no question. Despite it all they were both reasonably entertained.. came away thinking it was a decent game. And that is feckin' sad, it shows how far we've sunk that tonight was seen as some sort of respite. At least they tried.

There will be some serious changes needed if this lot are going to get anywhere close to the first rung of the next level.

Shows how low the bar has been set..

A dour drab draw (paper's views) is seen as an improvement...
