Reminds me of how people were before the Brighton game: another team that works hard, doesn't give you time on the ball and is well organised defensively. Limited going forward.
If we go in thinking we're the better team we'll lose 1-0.

Whilst I do agree with the overall sentiment, Brighton are a much better side, defensively and offensively, than Huddersfieldarlhe wrote:Reminds me of how people were before the Brighton game: another team that works hard, doesn't give you time on the ball and is well organised defensively. If we play to the same level as recent weeks, we should win

Has to be the same team, dropping anyone will be harmful for their morale/confidence imo, especially young Diangana.

Praying Huddersfield pick up 3 points against Fulham today.
Fail to win and it means they go into our game without a league win this season.....

i don't think so. Not many youngsters would expect to play every week. It is a squad game. Pelligrini is experienced enough at dealing with players to be able to manage this process in a correct waykentishiron wrote:Has to be the same team, dropping anyone will be harmful for their morale/confidence imo, especially young Diangana.

This is exactly the type of game Grady should be starting. Bags of confidence after the weekend, going up against a team on a poor run of form. He should do what he did against Burnley and go at them. City is the game you rotate him for because it's likely he won't be doing too much attacking and so we will need someone more experienced to handle the likes of Mendy and Sane/which ever superstar Pep fancies giving game time to.

Agreed, same team here and hopefully we don't start this game like we with Brighton where we think it's won before a ball is kicked. It's the PL, no game is easy unless it's West Ham.

Been thinking exactly that, don't want West Ham's charitable status for those in need testing on Saturday.

Of course not but with the form he's in it could certainly affect his mentality, do not see tho point in dropping him when wed replace him with Antonio who's got no brain and ski boots on his feet.Crouchend_Hammer wrote: i don't think so. A part of me wants them to end their winless run tonight (as you know what will happen on Saturday if they do remain winless), but a part of me wants to Fulham to win to pile on the pressure and nerves for Saturday. Either way, we should be beating Huddersfield.

This game is a measure of how far we have advanced...……...or not| If we play as we have been playing we should win comfortably. If not, the only reason, in my book, will be preparation and desire.
Re: ⚽ Huddersfield Town v West Ham Utd: match thread (10/11)
Surely we will get it right this time? We all know about the soft underbelly and expecting to win games like this and then losing. But maybe we can approach this game in the right way for once?
We are also due a bit of luck after the penalty that never was on Saturday and the deflected equaliser at Leicester.
I'm going for 1-2

Billing looked decent in centre midfield for Huddersfield... got his 5th booking though so won’t be troubling us this Saturday
