Antonio being sidelined in the last couple of games is the most baffling decision Pelligrini has made recently.
To me he should be the first name on the attacking team sheet and joined by two or there others
I can only think the shoulder issue he had needing resting. He was heavily strapped up today. He was our best chance of breaking that team down today.

I was being serious. The handful of quality away performances we’ve put, that’s how we’ve done it. Think back to Anderson’s goal at Southampton, Yarmolenko’s at Everton, Antonio’s at Fulham, Anderson’s at St James.

It’s in stark contrast to how we played today. We didn’t stay compact without the ball, we defended atrociously then when we got the ball we often moved it about too slowly.

When did Arnie and Hernandez join Kumb?

Why can't you both just get along!!

I know you were serious....

trouble is it's too few and far between to be a go to tactic.

I pretty much advocated last season that we should have been built on counter attack football with Arnie and Antonio in the squad

adding Anderson convinced me of it but it isn't the possession football that Pellers advocates.

now today we had 80% almost of the ball but lost 2-0, could have been honestly 4, and not only that outshot something like 17-3 and I think 7 sot to 1.

that's dreadfully damning...

I don't care what nationality Hernandez is, he is quite easily one of the biggest cheats I have ever seen on a football pitch and I for one would be happy to see the back of him. Not fit to wear the shirt. Oh and take that lazy git Arnautovic with you as well.

who was it we had who went past the Liverpool keeper (I think it was) and completely fell over when it was easier to stay on his feet and stick the ball into the net !!!!!

Sorry mate long and tough week compounded by today’s performance :)

You’re absolutely spot on, we don’t have a plan B away from home.

If a team doesn’t open themselves up and let us play we struggle to score.

I know we are a work in progress but it’s 1 step forward and 2 steps back at the minute.

We are still currently sat 9th which would represent a decent finish IMHO but we are going to drop if we don’t buck our ideas up starting from the first minute of the next game.

Couldnt find the exact post but some geezer posted on here " Never felt so confident about us getting 3 points since we went to Burnley" It was tongue in cheek , but seemed we put the same "effort" today as we did against Burnley.away With payers wanting to leave Marco Chico etc are we "on the beach" already ??

A couple of decent midfielders, two good new full backs and we really would be almost there but that’s been the case for as long as I can recall now.

By now Pelligrini will 100% know exactly what he needs and will expect to get it. He’s nearly 70. I doubt he came here to watch his excellent career peter out. He’ll expect more than his predecessors have.

Time to stop with Chicharito as a lone man up front in the starting line up imo.
Arnie's damage to our season can't be purely measured on today's performance.

If I had my way, he wouldn't play for us again.

Scrap the lot of em. We need forwards we can rely on, currently we have none.

We were terrible today, Fabianski aside. We were shaky in defence and offered nothing up front, far to many 'anonymous' players.

He wasn't our worse player but that shot from Antonio was comically bad.

I have zero problems with people criticizing Hernandez. That dive of his was pretty blatant. But having a go at an entire nation like that because of it is beyond the pale. And that's exactly what that previous poster did.

Simply woeful. Really can't be bothered to analyse it anymore than that.

Just didn't look like turning the game around at all.

Not the first time we've stunk the place out this season and probably not the last.

Too many players with big reputations and salaries turning up to games and offering nothing.
