it wont be a popular comment, but its no coincidence West Ham have been poor since Lanzini's return. Its harsh on him having had no pre-season, after such a serious injury. But also, he's a vastly over-rated player. I know, I know. Most on here love him, but in all honesty, he's never warranted the hype he's given. Its a shame we never managed to cash in on him around the time Coutinho left Liverpool. There were rumours Liverpool were after him. If we'd have got 40m / 50m for him, that would have been great business. Now, I doubt we'd get 15m if we tried to sell him.
I don’t like blaming officials, but seriously, wtf. And wtf West Ham. It’s great to be playing a good game but where the hell has it been for the last 6 weeks?
Lanzini has been okay, good on the ball, but his passing has been dreadful, he keeps trying to drill a pass long and it goes no way near where he wants it to.
I'd hook him for Diangana, bit of pace and ball retention, plus an unknown quantity for Man Utd.
Anderson probably our best attacking player, should have a goal and De Gea denied him a great assist for Snodgrass. Worrying that we don't have a striker on the bench.
By the way, if were smart, could be woth a try to force Smalling to be sent out...
As its not really difficult.... he fouled Messi in the game againts Barca (got a yellow for that), and was all the time near to be sent to the shower rooms....
A couple of decent passes does not a game make. How many times has he lost the ball this trying to go past people....too many to count game in game out. He was supposed to have blazing speed, I just don’t see it.
Really odd game. We are playing decent. Having more possession than Man U. We look okay. That penalty was terribly soft. Think West Ham should be pleased with that performance tho - a few more shots and we could be in for a good result here. No doubt if an unlikely result looks possible the ref will send a player or two off or give them another goal.

And without him, they have no defence, imho...
I like your thinking, but if hes not sent off for his assault on Messi hes never getting sent off against lil' ol' West Ham.
