Fabianski
Fredericks Balbuena Diop Cresswell
Noble Rice Snodgrass
Diangana Antonio Anderson
The injuries aren’t enough for me to want Arnautovic in the team.

Can’t believe we’re 2/1 to win at home to Leicester  they’re 5/4!

I would like to see more of Silva between now and the end of the season. I thought he showed some promise against Brum and deserves some more minutes.
Tbh I've seen very little of Holland and Coventry but what's the harm in trying them now even off the bench for 20/25 minutes. Would even give the crowd some encouragement?

Ogbonna has been outstanding these last three games. Why would anyone want him ditched?Marky wrote:I hope Diop plays above Ogbonna

I'm out hiking tomorrow so I'll miss watching this.
Good news because we generally play better in games that I miss.

Looking forward to it, as it’s only my fifth or so game this year.prophet:marginal wrote:Seriously struggling to work much enthusiasm, to be honest.

according to * & * he isn't in Italy - that was earlier in the week and he's here. the whole squad had a few days off - that would concern me more...….hammerman11 wrote:so hwernandez has an ear infection and that stops a fit professional sportsman playing ? also why does he have to go to Italy in a private jet or any jet ? why not stay and support the club on Saturday.
reasons are because he is off in the summer and knows it so why bother getting injured . he still picks his 120k a week up for nothing !

I’ve been harping on about blooding some kids since the day we reached 40 points. If not now, when?

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leicester City: match thread (20/04)
my guess would be..and of course it's only a guess...
the official line is that we want to finish as high as possible.
now here's my guess.... the board cannot handle a lower than 10th place finish after spending all that money.
it could be related to a bonus for the manager but far more realistic scenario for me is that the Axis of Evil are scared of the fallout if they end up somewhere like 14th
the other part of me thinks if we end up somewhere like 14th that Pellers will ask for more money than they are prepared to give him
he's under instructions on finishing as high as possible - maybe it's even tied into wins and losses type thing.

I want to feel enthusiastic about this game. If we play like we played last week there is no reason to believe we can't get a win, or at the very least a point. But such has been our on again off again form that I just can't see us doing the necessary. With the injuries mounting as well in creative positions it's hard to see us bossing this one.
Vardy to "win" a penalty late on to sink our 7th place and probably out top 10 hopes.

We better win, it will be a travesty if we finish behind teams like Newcastle, Burnley and Southampton after the seasons they've had. Inexcusable.

I hope also to see Nathan Holland make his debut today along with a few kids on the bench.
fab
zabaleta Balbuena ogbonna masuaka
noble rice Snodgrass
Antonio arnie Anderson
subs Adrian Johnson diop diagana Coventry Holland silva
a young bench that also highlights how bare the bones are now !
we need to get a grip in midfield but I fear that Maddison ndidi and co will be too quick for noble and snods !
If arnie is not bothered then he can be replace with silva or antonio moving up top and holland coming on.
Johnson to replace a tiring zaba around 70 minute mark
Coventry for noble on 80 mins
lets see these kids
no idea on the score but have a feeling for a 2-0 win anderson and ogbonna to help celebrate carpet day !

Coming down to watch this, should be a good game, neither team will sit back and i think it could be a high scoring game.
Rodgers has got us playing some really good football, only real blip was last Friday as we just couldn’t break Newcastle down, we’re always struggle against teams that park the bus.

Feel the same way, we'll revert to lackadaisical default setting now its not one of the SKY-6, Vardy will have a field day...we'll be on the wrong side of a 2 goal defeat.

Looks like it's shorts & shades weather
