Agree with this, only thing i don't understand is why we rarely see fouls and yellow cards against the diver any more Allis especially in the first halfS-H wrote:When all is said and done, the ref had a good game, didn't fall for any of their cheating. Fair play to him.

Tottenham fan the other day... "West Ham always struggle to beat us"
Since our return to the Premier League and including the Cup

Suggests that we can.

Yep. I’d add Rice and Arthur into that too!costa75 wrote:Beautiful.......
Noble, Antonio, Snodgrass, Diop, Fredericks, Balbuena were great today.

Late-season ennui meant I only just realised we were playing at midday and missed the entire thing. Unthinkable I wouldn't have known when we were playing – Spurs particularly – most seasons.
This probably belongs in the Bored of It All Now thread.

The depleted squad excuse !delbert wrote:Shall we start with the Spurs excuses now to save them the effort?
We’ve had a depleted squad virtually all season

How did we not win that by 3 or 4? Great performance but wasteful up top as we got in behind so many times. Great result. Love you west ham.

What a cracking result...but christ we don't half make it difficult for ourselves! Obiang and Antonio only had to hold on to the ball upfield at the end but they give away cheaply and Spurs almost scrounge an equaliser...

Had a feeling we would play well today, we do seem to play up to our opposition, and unfortunately also play down to it.
Everyone put in a shift, I thought Fredericks had a very good game, hopefully he can be our right back for years.
Glad Arnie stepped it up in the second half, and the goal was a thing of beauty.
Said it before, but this is the reason we all support West Ham, the highs when we play well and win are higher than any other teams. That's because we have to suffer many lows, but it's still worth going through the dark days to have these amazing highs!
