Alcohol ban? Absolute Wayne Kers.
So not only is it a lunchtime kick off we can’t get a pre-match pint? I was heading straight there for 12 ish and going to have one in the ground but now I’ll mill about outside with a few cans and make an absolute nuisance of myself. (Joke )
Seriously though, they’ve never not served us beer before a game at WHL.

Only time in recent years I can recall them serving before a game was the League Cup game when Maiga earned immortality.

Fans of every team are a weird bunch, it's not Spurs exclusive.
Hopefully Winks and Sissoko are still out for them - the former has been key in making them tick in midfield, and the latter has been a revelation this season. Without the two of them we might have a chance of winning the middle of the park a bit more, especially with a few zesty challenges.
Don't give us too much hope even with that - a draw would be an excellent result, but I suspect we'll get beaten by a couple of goals to be honest. They're better than us in every position.

I'm embarrassed for him and other Spurs fans having to sit near that, what a state!**** West Ham - cocky ***** all think they're going to do us on Saturday..."expecting at least a draw".
****ing uppity scummy bitch *****. I hate the lot of them. Too big for their boots. **** fans, **** stadium **** owners, **** ****ing club. If I could Thanos snap them out of existence, I would, no hesitation.
Break Arnautovic's legs, and batter the ***** 10-0 please.
Wouldn't be averse to their fans getting a physical battering too, tbh.
Anyway, looking forward to this one to tick off the new ground, can't deny it looks impressive. Helps that they have the Ajax game three days later and a couple of injuries, but we're a long long way behind this lot, so would be more than happy with a score draw.
Also taking in Hashtag United afterwards who play at Haringey Borough, to let the crowd die down at WHL, so two new grounds in a day for me

Re: ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur V West Ham United: Match Thread
Eh, I wasn't really thinking about Dier. Was thinking more about them lining up with Winks and Sissoko alongside each other given Dier's been out so much this season and they've had a 4-2-3-1 in a lot of games recently.Colours never run wrote:Not Defensive Mid they ain't and doesn't Eric Dier know it. Rice might be able to claim a spot in a combined eleven, but as you say I don't think we come close in any other position right now. Last season Arnautovic would have the run on any of their strikers not named Kane, mind you.

Re: ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur V West Ham United: Match Thread
Does Hernandez fancy this one? Or has Mummy not kissed his ear better yet? I've heard some pathetic excuses in my time for not playing. But that really is up there. Another player that couldn't be any less committed to the club and will hopefully be out the door in the summer.
For me we absolutely need to make at Ieast one change at the back. Particularly one of the centre halves. Balbuena and Ogbonna were both poor for Leicester's goals and have still been part of a back 4 that has conceded 4 goals and 2 games so at Ieast 1 deserves to be punished.
Ogbonna for me edges it, so Diop to come in for Ogbonna.
Zabaleta has done okay the past 2 games. Not sure he'll cope with the pace Spurs have. So I would be tempted to go with Fredericks for this one. As harsh as that is.
Perez to stay on the bench as he only seems to do a job when he comes on.
My team:
------------------------------Fabianski-------------------------------
-Fredericks----------Balbuena-Diop------------Masuaku-
-----------------------------------Rice---------------------------------
--------------------------Noble----------Snodgrass------------------
-Antonio--------------------Arnautovic--------------------Anderson-
Subs: Adrian, Cresswell, Ogbonna, Obiang, Lanzini, Wilshere, Perez.

And, of our only 2 players, Adrian was making his debut and is now firmly 'break seal in case of emergency' category. One single player in just over 5 years? Crazy.Modern wrote:Tim Sherwood's first game after the sacking of AVB.

Adebayor rifled in a volley, didn't he? It was quite the weather, front row behind the goal.
Will always personally have a soft spot for your old stadium. My younger cousin, who I took to his first games, is one of yours.
I hope it will have the same feel about it, one of these games, in your new stadium. Grounds need an edge, Shirley?

They start as red hot favourites and should beat us but I just hope we start well and compete.
son worries me a lot as he is a very good footballer who scores a lot. many decision for pelle to make
RB zab or fredericks
CB - does diop come in ?
Arthur to stay at LB, can he have 3 good games in a row ?
if Snodgrass is available then its the usual 3 if not does obiang come in
what is arnie`s head like ? will he actually score another goal for us
has Hernandez recovered from "serious" ear ache !
perez- does he start on the bench where he has done well coming on later
fear the worst but hope for better times !
