Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread
A nice game to finish the season and I can see a win (although quite rare there). Having Lanzini/Wiltshire was a delight on Saturday and showed what we have missed with injuries.
As normal having a good old drink in the Moon Under Water with a number of Watford fans.

Who gives a toss what they get up to in the Road. It is down the Lane I was concerned about.

These days with so much £ riding on each spot it would be a nice bonus to the wage budget for next season if we can win.
Hoping Deeney's rested as he always turns up against us, we never deal with him. I'll say 1-1, Arnautovic with ours.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread
Defence picks itself at the moment. In front of that, I'd play:
---------------------Perez
---Anderson-----Noble-----Arnie---
--------------Rice------Obiang
Bit late now but I've warmed to Perez a little more in the last few weeks.
Those three behind Perez creates chances. They all have a decent final ball. They all have a good footballing brain. They all compete physically.

If all fit I'd go:
Fabianski
Fredericks
Diop
Balbuena
Masuaku
Rice
Noble
Snodgrass
Antonio
Anderson
Arnautovic

Think you've nailed it there mate. Think that's what he will go with, although he might, just might, go with Jack ahead of Snoddy to give him some well needed playing time, but I cant make up my mind if he needs to or notPatito wrote:If all fit I'd go:

[quote="Patito"]True, he does seem fond of Wilshere.[/quote
He's fit at last, though probably not fit enough yet to play the full 90 and in any event, I wouldn't. But, he might decide to give him 45 minutes and then rest him for the summer. Its all conjecture and he doesn't need to play him at all if he feels its not worth the risk

Not a good place for us recently (only one win in six visits), but with them thinking about the FA Cup, we could surprise them...
For me:
Fabianski
Fredericks
Diop
Balbuena
Masuaku
Rice
Noble
Antonio
Wheelchair
Anderson
Arnie
Lanzini hasn't been right for a few games...but i'd love to see him with Jack....depending on how the game is developing...also, i'd like to see Silva on the bench....give him 20mins to see what the can do...running into space with Jack and Lanzini threading the balls....Anderson and Antonio bombing on and either Rice holding or Noble the quarter back (one will have to come off!)...the speed of Fred and Arthur too....lets go for a 5v8 scoreline!!

As above but I would play Snodgrass instead of Lanzini.Billydinho wrote:Surely the team picks itself at the moment?

Firstly, it gives us a bit more solidity in the middle against a team who will be physical and athletic in the central areas [whoever they pick], and secondly, I think Snoddy deserves a start to finish off the season

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread
first thing we have to do is compete in midfield especially if dacoure and capou are in there.
fab
fredericks Balbuena diop masuaka
noble rice Snodgrass
Antonio arnie Anderson
subs Adrian zabaleta ogbonna obiang wilshere perez Holland
2-0 hammers arnie and Anderson, as we secure 9th making it an average season in the end !
would be nice to sign off with 3 wins in a row and two away wins as we are poor away from home.

Never mind the result, if someone could make sure that **** Deeney misses the final, that'd be grand.

Anyone think Adrian should play or is that too sentimental? Nice to give the guy a proper send off. Remember home to the Blunts late sixties, when Jim Standen was given one last game, think Ferguson may have been crocked, and we serenaded him throughout the second half.

no we play our strongest 11. IF we are 2 up with two mins to go then maybe get him on.
football is a business and each place is worth millions so why gamble it on giving our reserve a send off. he can get his send off after we have won !

f*** no, captain calamity will probably chuck it in his own net and cost us 2 league places.hammerleroy wrote:Anyone think Adrian should play or is that too sentimental?
