Antonio didn't help Cresswell there but it was weak defending again.

If only we’d have spent that money that should have been available on a Left Back world and his wife could see it was a necessity

We haven't really done anything though, that's the problem. Haller has been impressive, but yet to have a touch in the box.WorcesterWHU wrote:That is a big shame as we've been very decent so far.
Both full back areas are being targeted, we are incredibly poor on both flanks.

Think it is Andy Townsend on my stream saying Jesus with an excellent finish. It deflected onto him! What a sycophantic muppet.

Cresswell again. I think I may have mentioned his shortcomings

Getting a bit ragged now at the back , Antonio give up covering on the left just now
they have identified Ctesswells weakness as a defender

Eh, not really Cresswell's fault. Antonio too slow to help out leaving Cresswell to hedge against two there.

Not really sure that’s fair, it was a very good goal.Scratchy wrote:Typical. Completely undeserved.

That's harsh on West Ham who had given as good as they'd got up until that point. But that's why City are league champions.
Meanwhile Silva fails to connect with a cross as Sterling waits for a knock in - although both appeared to be offside.

Diol should have done better, but Creswell was exposed for pace, and had no protection at all from Lanzini or Antonio, whereas Anderson and Fredericks doing a much better job on the right.

Pellegrini's blind spot to how many times the opposition get in behind us in wide areas is beyond belief.Macca1973 wrote:....and there it is, who would have thought it would be the fullbacks that cost us
There's always the January window eh?

City burst down the right again but Fabianski is down quickly to claim the cross. Everything is coming from Aaron Cresswell's side.

Still no help for Cresswell.
He's being targeted but no-one helping .

We're a third of the way into the game. West Ham have lost their way a bit here, but there's lot of football still to play. Hopefully more in City's half than we've seen in the last ten minutes.
