Antonio is cheating by staying too far forwards. Leaving Cresswell way too exposed on the left.

We're giving Man City a game here, playing the right way. I don't really care if we lose this, the signs are there for a promising season.

Because he’s rubbish.GaryP wrote:Still no help for Cresswell.
He's being targeted but no-one helping .

Lanzini goes down in the box again but it's a fair challenge from Zinchenko. No need to review that one.

The lack of support isn't his fault though.My_Sobriquet wrote: Because he’s rubbish.

My number one transfer wish at the start of the window was a left back.bristolhammerfc wrote:Cresswell again. I think I may have mentioned his shortcomings
Whilst we’ve bought very well I still stand by our biggest weakness is the left back position.
Prove me wrong Cresswell...

Wilshere looks absolutely done in. City happy to play in the space between our midfield and defence.Peaches wrote:Rice and Wilshere looking a bit of the pace.

Lanzini needs to stay on his feet. Throwing his hands around twice appealing for a non-penalty, boy who cried wolf comes to mind.

Antonio has been ridiculously impressive so far. Seems to have added some technicality to his game over the summer. Could be a very important player for us this season.

Better this from West Ham. Anderson's cross is cleared but possession is quickly won back. It culminates with Haller attempting an overhead kick. The only problem is he's about 7' tall, the ball is 3' off the ground...
