Our crowd loves a trier, one that gets the crowd going when we have a corner etc. He certainly knows how to play to the gallery.
I wouldn't say as others have that he contributes nothing, he can cross and pass a ball fairly well.
He is just not suited to the modern game, and more importantly is at an age where his prowess will keep diminishing.
We shouldn't be extending players contract into their 30's, there is no value whatsoever in it -unless the player is exceptional and they actually add some value.

My expectations are so low I was actually surprised Haller made it through pre-season. Getting 90 minutes under his belt as a record signing at West Ham – before whatever joint replacement surgery they'll be announcing this week – shows he's made of relatively stern stuff.

how can we have so many injuries every season ? fix this problem and we may have a chance. haller will be the bigger miss as we have useless Hernandez and ajeti who hasn't played for us yet. failing those two looks like Antonio up top !
