Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
If we start with Wilshere, we lose this one. Their midfield and set up will have a field day against our 11 starters at Brighton.
I’d be inclined to try & batter the f*** out of them - they’re even worse than us at dealing with being hassled - start with Yarmo & Antonio

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
The back 6 and Lanzini to start from the Brighton line up. Antonio starts if either Haller or Anderson miss out.
Not bothered who starts out of Noble and Wilshere but one will, but would want someone more competitive than either partnering Rice making a midfield three. 4-1-4-1 is too open; go either 4-3-3 or at least 4-2-3-1.

We'll win. Definitely. Maybe not quite as convincingly as we're hoping for, but nevertheless, by the end of the game we'll be on 4 points.

Thats our current best 11 imo until others get up to speed or get used to the league. More structure in the centre, Lanzini who can run at teams centrally and quick runners in behind off Haller.

Fornals will take time, and I’m actually slightly concerned already about whether he’s suited to this league at all... Yarmolenko should be on from the bench in this one at some point as well.
I’d like to see Noble in there as well but since he’s only just restarting training I’d imagine it’s unlikely.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
why are so many people including Noble ?
hasn't played or trained for about 3 weeks and not sure he's even fully training at the moment.
Meanwhile skipper Mark Noble looks certain to return to training this week

Thought Noble is back in training? All week is more than long enough to train to be involved this weekend after only 3 weeks out.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
he'll be well off the pace (no pun intended ) not having kicked a ball in anger for what about 3-4 weeks since the last friendly ?
wouldn't risk him at all.....come on as a sub with 30 minutes left...
less than a full week training and starting - not really..........not for me anyway.....
they won't start training until today, got yesterday off for sure. light training today....

Nothing especially, just a surprise suggestion from you - if you refer back to your last 12 months or so of posts in the Mark Noble thread. All I can say is you can't think much of our other CM options at present!Puff Daddy wrote:

Switched the full backs out, otherwise that's the team I'd pick also if fit. Yarmolenko for Anderson should he not make it.bowltorious wrote: Fab
