Given how much we improved after half time on Saturday, I'd like to see:

--------------------- Fabianski

Fredericks --- Diop ---- Balbuena --- Masuaku

------------------ Rice ----- Lanzini

Antonio ----------- Fornals ------------ Anderson

---------------------- Haller

Chuck the armband on the air and see who can catch it on their arm - my money's on Balbuena.

Only question for me is whether we go Antonio or Yarmolenko in that line-up.

Swap Lanzini with Fornals, then Noble in for Fornals.

That would be my choice, if I were to make a choice. Fornals and Lanzini can interchange.

Looks like a winner to me.

I think overturning old West Ham traditions could be it's own thread.

Things like:

Underestimating lower table opponents.
Pervasive injury list.
Buying injury prone players.
Not showing for the ball.
Not adhering to a team philosophy.
Not pressing as a group.
Wilting after the opponent scores.

I'm sure there are a ton of others. But hell, just a slight culture shift around one or two of those and we would be so much better.

Glad all 3 are back, cant see noble going straight back in as he has been off for more time but hoping Anderson and Haller are straight back in

Opposition player hasn't scored for 600 games...

Visiting team hasn't won in 73 years...

Step forward West Ham.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not.

One the one hand, their fans are desperate for him to be left out the starting line up.

I suppose it depends who they bring in.

Andre Gray isn't good enough at this level, Sarr is a very talented player but perhaps it will take him time to adjust. Is Isaac Success still there? Okaka perhaps?

I reckon they might start Welbeck thinking about it. Cue him finding his best form against us....

Do Im I the only one who think were needing Noble bad... ???

As he, imho, is a better and more complete player than Snodgarss and Wilshere...

The last both are good, but Noble always does two jobs in one, assisting, scoring and helping in defense. ...

PS: It will be inetessting to see a MF with Noble / Wilshere and Rice... how it works and content, and maybe cover better our 5 men back... :?

Noble wont be starting Saturday - he will be on the bench though I suspect.

Deeney not playing is a good thing as far as I am concerned as he would have done some bullying as usual and probably scored the usual penalty they always get against us ...

Fancy us to win this one now

Nope, it's bench warming duties for Anderson for me, with both Noble and Haller returning to the first team.

Anderson didn't play well against Man City and also picked up a recent knock, so coming off the bench won't do him any harm and only good. Whereas we really could do with Noble returning to the side to lead a rudderless team at the moment and although he's been out injured, I don't think it'll effect his fitness levels greatly having played and trained most of pre season. He's also too experienced and long in the tooth to not be switched on when game day comes around. He's always been responsible when he plays. Haller also goes back in the side as he's barely missed much through injury and has already looked very good. Time for him to play alongside Hernandez who's currently in form.

Sweeney not playing can only be a good thing, as he's always been a pain in the fat arse for us.

Do someone know, if Balbuena will be back at the rear bottom???

I just did not understand last game why he was sorted out, prefering Ogbonna there... technical decision or due to injury??? :? :(
