Prepare for endless "banana skin" cliches

Roberto to get a chance in goal.

Defense need to play together- I'd keep it in tact. For me that would be Balbuena in for Ogbonna.

All change up top. Hope Fornals and Yarm can do a full 90 and get into the swing of things.

-----Yarm-----BobSnod---Fornals
--------------------Ajeti

Game time for Sanchez, Ajeti, Snodgrass, Balbuena, Zabaleta, Roberto, Cresswell. The rest pretty much fills itself it.

Otherwise I really don't see the point. :?

The reserves will play. Antonio will start. The cavalry will be on the bench. I'd play Johnson at RB, rather than Zabaleta, which would seem pointless to me.

4-1-4-1: Roberto; Zabaleta (c), Balbuena, Cardoso, Cresswell; Sanchez; Fornals, Snodgrass, Antonio, Yarmo; Ajeti.

I reckon that's a good guess, with maybe Cresswell coming in [if he's fit] for Masuaku. I think Zabaleta will get a go at RB though.

Holland and Coventry should both get a game.

Pellegrini has said that Ajeti will play in his BBC interview.

I’d start Noble again - we need him to be a captain and not allow the kind of lackadaisical attitude we had for Wimbledon last year. And be a daddy for the new boys starting. Take him off after 60mins if we’re in control.

Please let’s take this one seriously. I’m sick of us throwing the cups. We’re not in danger of going down but we’re not going to challenge at the top either, so need to give ourselves a shot at glory.

I wouldn’t break up the team too much.

I’d make sure that Roberto , Ajeti and Fornals all start, along with Balbuena. But playing the likes of Yarma, Noble, Haller, Anderson etc shouldn’t be much of a stretch given missing recent games.

Dreading this. We will rest some players and give others a needed runout. Newport will be physical and bust a gut to get to everything.

I would love one more cup final before I'm too old to go..

Can't help thinking this match will either be very easy or very hard for us!
Newport were pretty poor today apparently but they managed to get an extremely late winner to beat the early top-of-the-table, Crewe.
Thanks to DL starting the match thread, I'm now hopeful for us winning.
Just need TOMoS to get his entrails out now..

Martin deserves a run out in goal.

Massive West Ham fan and I’d like to see us let him even just one game in our colours.

Reid at the back, test him out.

Apart from that just play the strongest side we have and get to the next round.

Noble played in the Wimbledon defeat last season
