If the Club can't be bothered why should the fans ?
This exactly.

There really is no point in people getting wound up.

Lets play a game.....lets pretend all you got were scores last night without knowing which team they related to.

So there was a 7-1 and also a 4-0 , thrown in the mix were a couple of "shock" results.

Who on here seriously wouldn't assume we'd be on the arse end of one of those results??

Only seen the highlights of this one but you can see in the goals we conceded that the effort wasn't there.

1st goal - Sanchez has no interest in getting close to the guy in the box. It's a training goal when you are half closing down

2nd - Anderson would 100% be back in defending if that was a Premier League game. Maybe offside as a couple have mentioned

3rd- Masuaku slipped. Actually the one goal i can excuse as slips happen sometimes

4th - Nobody tried, not one of them. Including the Keeper.

The players on that pitch were easily good enough to win that game. They just didn't want to.

As an aside it's nice to see Wilshere getting panned after a few weeks without. Couple of my mates who went actually said he and Holland looked most likely to do something positive for us before he was subbed and that he was definitely more effective that Fornals, Snodgrass et al. Interested to here what other match goers thought?

West Ham United-the Carlsberg of football. Probably the best at being humiliated in the world. :thdn:

In a way as I wasn’t there and I couldn’t watch it on a stream it doesn’t hurt so much. That’s why I feel sorry for the fans that went

If the Club can't be bothered why should the fans ?
Because we haven't got a choice TOMOS!

We've still got the FA Cup to look forward to and that will be along soon and think that providing we don't draw a League 1 club away in the 3rd round, we could go quite a long way in that one

Holland and Wilshere were our best players first half. Should have subbed Fornals and Sanchez before them, both of whom had shockers.

That said, Jack was blowing out of his arse again and can’t last 90 minutes even against League 1 reserves.

Honestly. If the club is not bothered about the cups then we as fans should turn around and refuse to attend the cup games. Make the team play infront of no fans.

I imagine Kante would be finished after an hour playing next to Sanchez in CM.

I went last night and frankly I am absolutely furious :x

We all saw Newport, Shrewsbury, Wigan & Wimbledon away (x2) over the past few years - these fringe players simply do not have the b*llocks to go to the lower league sides away from home, play well, dominate and pick up a result. How many times have we had to bring Anderson/Noble on to change/win a game - the management team are frankly stupid for allowing this to happen time and time again.

Roberto - Average
Zabaleta - Finished as a pro footballer, looked like I was watching someones Grandad out on the pitch
Balbuena - Dreadful marking
Diop - Dominated physically by Jamie Mackie who must have been at least a foot shorter than him.
Masuaku - Cannot and will not ever be able to defend
Sanchez - ****, wouldn't get into Oxfords side
Wilshere - Had all the ball and did nothing with it
Fornals - **** and outmuscled all game
Snodgrass - ****
Holland - the only shining light, disgraceful that he was 1st to be subbed off
Ajeti - Useless

The only saving grace for me was that I was home by 10:20 living just half an hour away, I feel for all of you who had to trek 2 hours+ back to Essex/the East end.

How do cup results compare under the dildos, to that of previous owners?

Is it a West Ham thing? A mentality thing? Or just one of those things? Football, eh?

We don’t invest enough compared to our peer group in promoting youngsters.

I saw that James Justin of Leicester and he looked phenomenal and we have Zabaleta who is slower than half our season ticket holders

BondsoBob wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 8:19 am No mate, Oxford are league 1. So 3rd Div. to us oldies. Two tiers beneath us.
Not that it makes the slightest difference.
Still an absolutely shocking and disgraceful result.
I really do wonder how the players feel after a performance like that and if any of them actually care?
[/quote+

Prem = div 1
Championship = div2
league 1 = div 3
league 2 = div 4 That makes it 3 tiers

Ah, so there's the real West Ham.

For a moment there I was worried that we were actually a decent team and might well be living up to our hype.

The result highlighted are chronic lack of pace all over the pitch take out Antonio and lanzini we struggle. There is a need for certain players snodgrass who cannot now play on the wing zabletta and Sanchez and Wilshire to move on we need hungry fast players. I also have doubts as to whether formals is suited to English football but perhaps it is to early to judge

I think it’s more a case of take out Antonio, Lanzini, Rice, Noble, Anderson, Yarmolenko and Haller we struggle. We could have smashed Oxford easily even without Antonio and Lanzini.
