Best scene was when he got his head cut off in GOT. If I was the there I would have pissed down his neck too.goingunderground wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 2:39 am Ah come on now, Sean Bean is a great actor. LOTR, Sharpe, GoT alone. He's just got a terrible taste in football teams.

I just couldn't see it at Everton TOMOS. I was honestly stunned and how 'cant be arsed' Anderson and Lanzini looked. The Old Man of Storr wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 11:17 am I disagree on the ' desire ' bit , mate , I think we have players throughout the team with the desire to win -

Lanzini started playing quite well until he signed his new contract. I think both him and Anderson have eyes elsewhere in sunnier climates.
All they will do is just enough (without risking injury) to secure them a move elsewhere because there is no such thing as loyalty/love for their club in modern day football. Noble is an exception because he exudes vast amounts of passion for WHUFC even though his legs can't do what his heart wants to do.
What I have seen from both players is cowardice in tackling and an obvious shirking out of any physical contact . When things get tough and you need to battle through the game, you need ALL players to put in effort to try and get a result.

Hope Fredericks hasn't been dropped, his pace is absolutely vital for us when defending.

Statistically speaking, Anderson is our third highest tackler per game. Averaging 2.9 per game, just behind Rice and Masauku who have 3.4 and 3.6 respectivly. Even with interceptions he finds himself fifth.
Seems to be this misconception with Anderson that he is lazy and doesn't help defensively, far from it.

Zabaleta, Balbuena, Masuaku, Snodgrass and Yarmolenko in.
Harsh on the 3 dropped defenders who were the only ones worth their salt last week.

Ambivalent about the Balbuena one.
Really not sure about the Zabaleta one!

This must be the slowest starting 11 we've had for some time.
Really worried about today. I think this could be a bit of battering. 0-2 or 0-3

Pretty uninspiring team that - but it might be what we need to have a battle. Absolutely no pace whatsoever though, apart from Anderson.

Very odd decisions by Pelligrini in regards to the back four

In general that looks like a need for more experience.
Glad there are changes in concept but not sure I agree with the specific ones that have been made.
