One clean sheet in there last six, they're not as solid as they are thought to be, so we should be able to get some goals, it's just a case of us defending properly and defintley defending properly at set pieces

we haven't defended well at set pieces since Pellers has been here - not sure Slav was much better but it seems to me that we give up more goals from those than any other team in the league. of course I watch us more - but even so.......

I would just like to see a tactical switch, as we set up the same every game.
Fredericks and Masuaku as wing backs, and Yarmolenko up top with Haller.

I would go with this team.
Roberto, Fredericks, Balbuena, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Rice, Snodgrass, Anderson, Yarmolenko, Haller

Subs: Martin, Zabeleta, Sanchez, Holland, Lanzini, Ajeti, Noble.

I’m going for a 1-1 draw.

Same old ****ing, turgid rubbish. Why would any of our fans put themselves through it ? Right now, I wouldn't cross the ****ing street to watch us. 3-0 Burnley

Flappy. Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Rice, Noble, Snodgrass, Anderson, Yarmolenko, Haller

Those stats are not big enough for generous old West Ham to re-set the opposition record books. If Burnley had only kept 1 clean sheet in 600 I would be 100% convinced we would fail to score! We may score from a Noble penalty, and that's about it.

3-1 to them with the usual suspects Barnes (2) and Wood getting their goals.

As long as Martin, Masuaku, Fredericks, Snodgrass and Ajeti start we might not get battered.

I expect to concede 1 or 2 from set pieces or crossed from deep as they seem to be the only goals we concede.

2-0 Burnley, and the first nail in Pellegrini's coffin. 65 quid for the train and 30 quid for the match, I must be mad going up there to see us get done  .

Roberto (unfortunately)
Fredericks
Masuaku
Ogbonna
Diop
Sanchez
Rice
Snodgrass
Anderson
Yarmalenko
Ajeti

Sanchez sitting deepest. Rice a bit more licence to get forward. Snodgrass supporting the three up top

Fullbacks getting forward to provide width

bf not really bothered about who plays in the front three so could be interchangeable

both team got done yesterday and both managers will want a reaction in the next game. who do you fancy dycke screaming at you or charming smiley pelle who never loses his temper and is calm all the time ? my money is on a 3-0 wiin for burnley as yesterdays first half was the worst I have seen from a west ham side against a poor Newcastle team ! we made them look so good.

Roberto cresswell zabaleta noble should not start but probably will !

my team would be
martin - can he be any worse than flapper ?
fredericks diop ogbonna masuaka
rice Snodgrass fornals
Anderson haller ajeti

subs Roberto cresswell Balbuena lanzini noble Holland yarmolenko

I want to see the lazy f ers run . They will get out run and out fought by burnley who will see this as a chance to get back on track. 3-0 easy win for them with no shotds on target for us !

every team has worked out how we play and that we have no midfield. noble didn't get near anyone yesterday. shame but he needs to be dropped and someone else given a go. trouble is the choices to replace him are fornals who is trying to adjust and has been poor so far; wilshere who is injured as usual and been poor when he has got out on the pitch; sanchez who is slow and useless. idela time to give Cullen some minutes but he is out on loan . who knows if he is good enough but he would at least try harder than this mob.

need to recall diagana hughill and Cullen to inject some desire into the camp.

For all his faults Anderson kept going and was the one carrying a little threat . snoddy tries as usual and got a good goal. the rest were awful including rice who must be thinking "get me out of here, I have had enough"

----------------------Roberto

Fredericks general diop Arthur

----------------rice ----snodgrass

Yarmenlko -------lanzini ------- Anderson

------------------------haller

No reason to play creswell and zabs at all. One free kick doesn't change the fact we looked balanced with the pacey full backs

Snodgrass offers so much to the team ATM. So let him help rice

Preferred:

Roberto
Balbuena Diop Ogbonna
Fredericks Rice Snodgrass Masuaku
Anderson Haller Lanzini

Martin, Zabaleta, Cresswell, Noble, Wilshere, Fornals, Ajeti

Predicted:

Roberto
Zabaleta Diop Ogbonna Cresswell
Rice
Yarmolenko Noble Snodgrass Anderson
Haller

Martin, Fredericks, Balbuena, Sanchez, Fornals, Lanzini, Ajeti

3 things I know about this game:

1. Burnley will be really, really up for it
2. Our centre backs will get bullied by their forwards
3. Burnley will score from at least one set piece

After watching the Under 23's today I'd be tempted to put a few of those players in. Pace of the game was frantic, unlike the slow and laboured approach we've become accustomed to the last few weeks with the 1st team.

Instead of training, our guys (and manager) should watch the Leicester match on repeat all week. That's how to play away from home.
