Left the pub in halftime.. The odd feeling of not being botherd.
It's all about the effort, not the result. :crest:

If his “effort” today was similar to the last 5 games, then I’d make you right.

Bloke has been sold a dummy by our owners and manager, but his body language and effort make Lucas Perez look like a Labrador on cocaine

He didn't do one thing. Got beaten to every 50/50.
Tosh. He won at least 8 contested headers in the first half.

I turned it off at 1-0, I want to care, I do, but I just don't. Went back to watching the re-run of Formula E.

Whilst it did crack me up when he was ironically cheered after being passed the ball by the ball boy, I felt a bit bad for Roberto when he ran straight off the pitch at full time.

Yes he is crap. But his confidence is shot to pieces and the fans aren't helping.

Going 3-0 down was criminal but I thought we gave it a go in the last 30 minutes. Looked so much better with Antonio playing with Haller, and dare I say it, Rice at CB. Sanchez did ok and Cresswell and Snodgrass toiled. It’s really saying something though not none of our ‘flair’ players bothered turning up for this bar Fornals who looked like he’s trying to play himself in the team. I think he’s getting better every game.

Didn’t feel like a loss at the end, strangely. And could of had a point out of that if Haller’s foot of not been deemed offside by VAR. looked close on the stadium screen, was it?

The sad thing is, Spurs were not particularly good today, they didn't have to be. We set up and played like we have all season, nothing different or new. We have good players and a good team playing poorly, without an identifiable plan, confidence or desire. This is 100% on the management and coaches. What is the first sign of madness?

Well that was fun. On the plus side - Tottenham were terrible as well. Think we will win at there’s with fabianski back. Might even stay up.

I agree with you and Delbert, but playing him in those circumstances isn't helping.

On the bright side - I've just been told that Fabianski expects to be back within two weeks (you heard it here first etc.)

Got his marker down there. Then booked Fredrick's for clearing a ball and 3 seconds later Son arrived and went down without contact. He had treatment for about 2 minutes and didn't have to leave the pitch. After the free kick Ogbonna is down 20 seconds of treatment and of course must leave the field...

Not to mention the Kane dive for the free kick for the third, or Kane not getting a red card from a petulant dangerous slash on Snodgrass for not putting the ball out of play when Sisoko wasn't injured...

just got back , wanted to leave at 70 mins , stayed after Antonio scored , diop, Anderson, yarmo and haller all had another day to forget , yes we did rally last 25 mins to give an unfair look to the scoreline , if you are getting absolutely nothing from the above 4 then as we know we are bang in trouble

Harry Kane is a massive ****. As is Son. The pair of them are petulant dickheads. Son helps snap someone’s ankle and he got more sympathy then Gomes did.

****ers.

Christ if that was them at terrible, would hate to see them when they are on form. For 75 minutes they embarrassed us in every single position. The second goal was sublime.

Oliver wasn't great by any stretch, but Fredericks got booked for an awful challenge on Son, which on review - he was a very lucky boy to stay on the field.......

Agree with steps and diogenes above.

We have a strong squad, skilfully players. Just not motivated. Lack of mental energy, enthusiasm.

For me, Pellers is starting the wrong team and wrong formation.

He always advocated the 4 2 2 2 formation but insists on playing 4 3 3 or 4 1 4 1. Haller is isolated.

Something needs a radical change. Unfortunately I think it might be the manager.
