big test for us this because after the Chelsea result many are expecting the same from west ham. however not sure they will be able to put that much effort in after the one off against Chelsea. That should be the norm and what pelle should be demanding . I suspect us to get outplayed and lose by a few but I want to see some fight and effort from all of them. haller yarmolenko Anderson have been awful recently and need to wake up.

fornals is starting to adjust and I hope he keeps his place and plays well against a good technical side.

should be a good atmosphere and a proper old fashioned game if we turn up it could be a classic 3-3 or if not a 3-0 defeat !

who know which west ham will attend the match.

I reckon pelle will pick
martin
fred balbuena oggy cresswell
snodgrass noble rice fornals
haller anderson

subs roberto diop masuaka sanchez ajeti yarmolenko holland

I’m hoping the fact this is their third game in 7 days, and our extra days rest, will play a factor. 1-1 I reckon.

You'd like to think that if Antonio is out, both Haller and Yarmolenko would have looked at his desire, effort and work rate and thought I'd better show some of that if I want to get back in the team. I mean that's how it would work in most sports, with players sitting on the outside.

But with the mindset of Premier league footballers these days, I won't hold my breath.....

Apparently coverage starts at 6:30. You just go onto Prime Video and it'll be one of the features.

I'd be tempted to play Masuaku on LW with Anderson as a no.10 for this one.

Keep the same starting 11 v Chelsea, but if António is out given Holland a start. He will be keen to impress.
Hopefully the team can show the same hunger and desire as on Saturday, that’s all I would ask for.
Let the likes of Yarmolenko and Haller know that this is a minimum requirement before returning to the starting 11.

I would take an away draw against this lot, I have a feeling that they are going to turn us over though.

Exactly - nor just replace Antonio with Haller. We're gonna have to cope with the wing backs more than anything. Fornals and Snod as wide players might be able to do that but we need legs up front.

Only once this season, have been confident and that was against Man Utd.

I've only hit my head once today, as well.

Hard team to play against, 3 months since their last league defeat, only lost twice as well.

Would like us to set up with.

Martin,
Fredricks, Ogbonna, Balbuena, Cresswell

Snodgrass, Rice, Noble, Masuaku

Fornals

Haller

Subs: Roberto, Ajeti, Antonio, Sanchez, Diop, Anderson, Yarmolenko

Would take a point all day, and to see us well organised and the work rate the same as at Chelsea.

Went to this game last season - was freezing cold, and it was probably one of the worst (if not the worst) away performance I have ever seen - we were so bad and lucky to only lose 3 nil - don't recall us having a shot and the away end was dead quiet all game.
I hope the travelling support get something better this year - yet we tend to follow up a decent performance with a shower of **** so I will say Wolves 2 - West Ham 0

Hoping the victory at the weekend give's the players the belief and confidence to get something from this game. Providing we apply ourselves in the same way as Sat, we have a chance.

Graft and hardwork to go with a bit quality. That's the minimum.

Well one thing is for sure, we can't possibly play with as little attacking impetus as we did last season up there, I don't recall us having a shot which even remotely troubled them. We have a chance tonight purely because of how much football they have played recently but they are a top side and we will have to have one of our best days of the season yet to win.

Rest for Antonio so not to risk injury and so that he can batter Arsenal on Monday night. I would also drop stroppy Felipe for his antics at the weekend. I'd setup like this:

Martin
Fredericks Balbuena Ogbonna Cresswell
Snodgrass Rice Noble Masuaku
Fornals
Haller

Subs: Anang, Diop, Zabaleta, Sanchez, Anderson, Yarmolenko & Antonio.
