even if Arsenal go in to this game missing their 4 big name players - and I would not be at all supprised if Lyunberg and Bergkamp are both passed fit to play i'm certainly not going to underestimate them. Yes they will feel it but Arsenal still have enough class players especialy amongst their youngsters to win and one big boost for them was the return of Sol Campbell .

But they have not started well where as we are playing some brilliant football and confidence is sky high we will never have a better chance to beat Arsenal and if we can continue to play in the same way we have then I see no reason why we can't win.

but I predict a draw.

Keeping it real, I honestly think we can take this Arse team to pieces, like we did to Villa.
3-0 to the Irons
Cambell has had his glory moment (last week) and will probably have a Woodgate against us. Yossi will make Cambell and co. look like mugs and someone will dive in on him or Marlon for our first goal, a pen.
This will get the boys tails up and they will push on for a 2-0 at half time followed by an early goal in the second half. Loads of pressure from Arse in the second half all coming to nothing as the Irons fire out a warning to Manusa and Chelski that they really mean business. Next week, down to earth as we slump to an embarassing defeat to Scunderlund

If ljungberg is out along with pires and henry and possibly bergkamp, i don't feel arsenal have the backup players
This is where they will suffer the likes of man utd and chelsea have good backup but arenal.........whos gonna play if they don't?

I take in van persie and flamini will play probably with reyes but apart from reyes are the backup players any good ?

well from what I have seen of the youngsters that Wenger has played in the Carling Cup over the last couple of seasons they certainly do have the back up players.

All of our players will have to be on top of their game for us to win this one.

Think we will lose 3-1. Hleb, Reyes and Van Persie will be the difference.

No shame in that though and I fully expect our players to give it 100%

Never have a better chance to beat them, IMHO - with Viera gone, and without Henri, Ljungberg, Pires and Bergkamp, and not playing particularly well, either. They were terrible in the first half against Everton - continually gave the ball away. If Everton hadn't been so diabolically bad, Arsenal could easily have lost that game.

Second half, neither team could be bothered. If they play that badly again (and without their best 4 (5 counting Viera) players, they're beatable if we get amongst them and don't let them pass us to death, we can get a result.

Got to do something about the corners though - don't think our back 4 has looked terribly comfortable in the air at set pieces (that fiasco against Blackburn being a prime example). Wonder if he'll bring in Ward for some extra height instead of (or as well as) the two existing CBs?

All the games are on Sky - dunno if it's first game, but if not, press red button afterwards and watch the whole game

I would love it, love it if we get a point tomorrow

I am optimistic that we could nick it, but will be looking for a good showing by the lads either way.

I understand the odds for the match are West Ham 5/2 and Arsenal 8/13. I know they sometimes end up with egg on their faces but they just can't afford to get it wrong. But us at 5/2 is a massive temptation me feels.

Should be an entertaining game and I can't wait.

It would on paper look to be a great time to play Arsenal, they are missing a couple of excellent players plus Ljunberg and Campbell just coming back from injury. We on the other hand have a more or less full squad with a team playing excellenty football, full of confidence.

I'm going for the draw 1 - 1.

Have it on good authority, "not from a steward" That Aalliadiere has a hernia that needs surgery and not a groin problem, Pards isn't very impressed with this as he has had this when he arrived at UP.

Looks like it'll be a good game though, and i think we can sneak something from it to.
1-1, but it could go either way
