Gabbidon played excellent i thought very glad he is back. Collins looked more confident beside him.
Zamora played well. Held the ball up.
Etherington played ok, some tw*t next to me just slagged him off all game.
Konch was average but did enough.
Repka looked very comfortable and didn't put a foot wrong in what could be his last game. Super tom got sang loads with him clapping to the fans during every chant. The way he waved at the end made me think he could be off this week.
Harewood his finishing was crap should of had a hat trick didn't do a lot in the game.
Mullins played well i thought today was impressed with his performance.
Reo Coker did his usual stuff by getting stuck in was fairly quiet.
Shaka nothing to do all game really.
Newton played well some good runs but no end product.
Katan looked ok but only had 10 minutes so need another look.

Good summary of what I saw.
Gabbidon was different class. One dodgy clearance but otherwise awesome.
Matt did some great stuff first half but faded in the second.
Harewood had three excellent chances and failed to even get any on target, plus various long shots and half chances. Should have seen us come away with a 1:5 win and a Marlon hat-trick.
The team was excellent especially Newton and Gabbidon, Collins looked IMHO our only weak link who displayed a lack of composure that led to a couple of bollockings from Shaka but i'm nit picking a bit as Norwich were very poor and he dealt with most of it.
I can only remember one shot from them in the first half, that was from distance. They weren't much better in the second as we let them play in front of the back but they didn't have the class to break us down. We were content to play on the counter attack and Harewood had a couple of excellent chances in the second half but missed 'em both (obviously).
Katan looked ok when he came on (last 12min), nice footwork and set Harewood up a couple of times, looked like Kanoute a bit apart from in the air where he looked like Harewood...
Only complaint of the day was that they sold out of Delias Chicken Tikka pies at half time and everything else, we were told this after q'ing for 15min.. cheers.
Decent professional job today and chant of the day goes to 'There's only one Gordon Ramsey'
Also enjoyed dancing when Norwich scored to their ***** music..

Posts on WHO say Dailly was booed when he came on.
I thought that maybe a few boos were directed at Dailly, but it was mainly that people didn't agree with the defence minded substitution.
I hope it wasn't directed at Daiily, who did OK in my opinion.

I gave him a cheer out of sympathy. It is cr*p booing our players. Write to Pards if you have criticism. And I thought Dailly did fine today. Takes balls to deliver when your own miserable fans are at you. i know he's not the dogs but he does not pick the team.
Didn't say anything about Anton being Sh*t. I was saying Collins knows Gabbidon better from Cardiff so he looked more comfortable as they know each other well.
Not match related as per se, but still positive is the fact that quite a few Premiership teams have to play again next(?) week which can only be an advantage for us imo:
Wigan
Boro
Birmingham
Everton
West Brom
All in all, it's been a rather good day I'd say[/i]

One presumes your not Anton's biggest fan???
one presumes wrong (if you mean that I don't like him)
I like the lad.....he's done well......I don't agree with people slating Collins whilst bigging up Anton way beyond his current ability......doing that is almost as bad as slagging him off in my opinion
he has a lot of potential, but also still shows a lot of naivety........of course he's still young so hopefully his potential will come to fruition and I am behind him all the way, but am not behind those who want to slag Collins and rant about how great Ferdinand is and how his mistakes are all the fault of Collins.....and how Ferdinand wasn't making any mistakes before Gabbidon got injured - which is utter b*llocks (of course I am not saying you have said these things....but they have been said)

neither did I
what made you jump to the conclusion that I did .....or that I was saying you had ?? (if you were responding to my comment that is....if not, please ignore)

I think some people thought the way i wrote in my summary i was saying Anton isn't very good (i rate him highly). I wasn't directing it at you Bonehead just stating that i do rate Anton.
