Middlesbrough 1 West Ham Utd 2 (22/12/07)

Post by THORNE_X »

i havn't done one of these yet so beginners luck should kick in during an injury time winner from Ljungberg to actually do something for us

another away win 2-1. solano 24, ljungberg 92, tuncay 44,

no idea on starting line up, noble was pretty good when he came on and ljungberg was *****, would idealy swap the two but dunno how thatd work for the team. mullins was good, parker was the best player on the pitch so probably the same line up as saturdays game with everton.. if they all stay fit!?!

any idea when bellamy is back?

Don't think Bellamy is back until January. Cole's got a match ban remember so he won't be able to play which means we're left with Ashton and Camara :?

Its going to be very cold and I will be wearing one of my very fetching cashmere jumpers with the P&S Yaughting jacket...I stupidly wore a Kenzo coat yesterday and was brass monkeys.

We'll lose by the way and i will still get very drunk after 8-)

One of Noble or Bowyer to partner Parker in the middle. I'd go for Bowyer if fit. If he can continue the form he was starting to show before his operation, he could be the solution in the middle. Aside from that, the team basically picks itself. Think we'll probably have to continue with Ashton and Cole out of having no other options. I think they could be a lot more effective together with Bowyer providing a bigger threat in midfield.

If fit boa should play in place of either matty or bowyer.

Wright - Gabbs - Pantsniffer - Mullins - Camera

2 - 0 win.

Oh good point, he is, isn't he?

Errrrm... Wouldn't start with Ashton and Camara. Probably have to go with Ashton and Boa, then. And god knows in left midfield. Ljungberg? Reid? Suddenly quite pessimistic about this game.

----------------------------- Green
Neill --------- Gabbs ---------- Upson ---------- McCartney

--- Bowyer ------- Mullins ------ Parker ------- Solano
-------------------------- Ljungberg
------------------------------Ashton

I'd go with that and swap Bowyer with Ethers or Boa Morte (and change sides with Solano) depending on who is fit.

I agree.

It will be cold and we will lose.

However, I will not be wearing a cashmere jumper nor will I be getting drunk after.

Benjamin Franklin once famously wrote, "In life, nothing is more certain than Death and Taxes"

Change this to modern day football. " In a Premier season, nothing is more certain than a Boro home win against West Ham"

QED

Start Ashton on the bench with Ephraim up front for the first half. Swap them round at half time. When Deano starts on the pitch we usually lose....

But Deano will have his socks and boots all lined up in 90 degree angles ready to start the game!

If Bowyer is back I would prefer him to Ljungberg. Furthermore, I would like to see Noble starting again. Juat becasue Mullins has not done too much wrong is no excuse to keep him in the side.
