His Wikipedia page says when played for West Ham he supplemented his earnings of £3 per week by working on the railways , which also paid £3 per week.

Football would be so much more fun for me if I knew that diving **** Sadio Mane had to go to a shift at Debenhams after training.

Some of ours could do with a stint doing a normal job as well given they are so utterly **** at their day jobs.

I had a little look to see if I could see myself. No luck though. :)

Highbury in '82 had to be seen to be believed. It felt like every last single one of our fans wanted blood.

Lovely old photo and brought a tear to my eye - My mum passed away just before Xmas but Frank was her favourite player and she'd tell me that, after a game, she'd wait outside to meet him and walk back to Manor Park (with her twin sister in tow, I hasten to add).
