Re: KUMB.com September Player of the Month
I went for Cole. It was between him and Hines really, but Cole gets my vote for leading the line on his own and bagging a few goals to boot.
Re: KUMB.com September Player of the Month
Cole for me. Very isolated but did well to score against Liverpool. Can't think of anyone else of note last month, maybe Hines.

Cole has been the outstanding player of the season. Sadly it's a pretty easy process of elimation at the moment.

That was what Lord Griffiths predicted the result would be, just goes to show what a useless senile **** he is!
Hines won it on the o/s and he has done well but for end product with poor service and playing on his own Cole gets my vote.

Re: KUMB.com September Player of the Month
I think of his 4 goals, 2 have come direct from set pieces and the other one at City was the aftermath of a free kick with loads of Hammers in the box. The only goal from direct free play was the worldy one against Spuds. Kind of adds fuel to the theory that in normal play his isolation isn't helping his goalscoring ability or ours in general.Cuenca 'ammer wrote:DC

You're only as good as your supporting cast. And in this case they ain't very good and they ain't supporting...Even a couple of the misses he has made were from solo efforts..Now maybe there was one this year that I can think of a square ball across the goal and he couldn't/didn't get to it, turned out his shirt was being pulled.. (still the size of the lug he should have had man, ball and jersey in the net..)
But really unlike a year or so back when he was getting all sorts of shots and couldn't finish a fish supper, can't think of too much that we have provided to him that has been squandered...even the one from Kovacs scuff was well creative...
PotM it is then.. shouldn't even be a close 2nd imho....

Re: KUMB.com September Player of the Month
And of course it makes you wonder how many he might get if he did have a supporting act. Isn't he the ideal man to have a strike partner ? instead he needs binoculars to spot Sideshow and Jimmy.Cuenca 'ammer wrote:DC
