The West Ham United Songbook (chants would be a fine thing)

Does exactly what it says on the tin - the forum for football-related discussion.

I actually prefer the Inspiral Carpets one. I managed to get a few down a local pub singing it (well the chorus part only - "This is..") and it caught on very quickly!

That said a few pints had been downed by all those taking part, so were probably more in the 'mood'!

Can we have a different one for our Dimitri?

I like the one we have at the moment, but is getting pretty stale after the millionth time of singing it!

I noticed when Noble was on that Fantasy Football show the other night, he kept referring to him as "Manu" so I can only assume this is what he is known as by the club. Surely we can incorporate that in to a song?

Something along the lines of this:

(To the tune of "Big Fat Frank")

Manu,
Man-u-el.
Manu,
Man-u-el.
Manu,
Man-u-el.
MAN-U-EL LANZINI

OR...

Super,
Super Man.
Super,
Super Man,
Super,
Super Man.
MAN-U-EL LANZINI

Was thinking that "sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond could make the base of a good singsong.

Paul McCartney “Let ‘Em In”

Someone just played a through ball
Somebody just scored a goal
Someone just played a wide ball
Somebody just scored a goal
Manuel Lanzini does it all

Slaven Billic wo-o-o, puts him on
Plays in Noble or Alex Song
Andy Carroll wo-o-o, times his run
Manuel Lanzini shoots one in

Someone just played a through ball
Somebody just scored a goal
Someone just played a wide ball
Somebody just scored a goal
Manuel Lanzini does it all

Yeah sorry it sounded great in my head.....

Is there any chance of someone coming up with a tune that sounds a bit more manly, edgey and aggressive?

Most of the recent offerings sound a bit cringeworthy or Watfordish. I mean "Achy Beaky Hear"
