The West Ham United Songbook (chants would be a fine thing)

Does exactly what it says on the tin - the forum for football-related discussion.

Or Payet for Noble, Alex Song or (at a bit of a stretch) Lanzini for Obiang, depending who's playing.

Big fan of both of the above, not least because they would actually work. I like a lot of what's on here, but a lot of it requires remembering lyrics so takes a while to get going. Either of these and everyone around you will know all the words after you've sung it once.

He didn't fancy that,
He wants to play with Tomkins, n' ginger Pele too,
His name is Aaron Cresswell,
He wears the Claret n' Blue.
Despite what i said above, this. Over and over again.

We should also make a change to the Harry Kane song. Because, you know, that word isnt acceptable in public really. So id just use the tune they sing for hes one of our own and change it to:

He cant close his mouth
He cant close his mouth
Harry Kane,
He cant close his mouth.

Also kept thinking that Lanzini fits into the "na na na na, na na na Lan-zi-ni" of Hey Jude, but Hey Ginge might be even better.

Mark Noble should play for England
It's a simple fact
Woy Hodgson doesn't pick him
Cos he's a ****ing twat
He could've played for Ireland
But didn't fancy that
We don't really care
Cos he wears a West Ham hat

One for the Man Utd game...(a bit retro)

I have heard that its been said,
Rooney's boots are made of Lead,
I just know what I've been told,
Payet's boots are made of Gold,
Payet's boots are made of Gold;

That away fans (apart from ours) sing ?
I can make out "Everywhere we go..."
but the rest is totally unintelligible.

Basically

'Everywhere we go
Everywhere we go
It's the (insert random team) boys
Making all the noise
Everywhere we go'

Might very well be on a page in this thread but being sung yesterday was:

Super Slav went abroad
In his Lamborghini
He bought back a little gem
Manuel Lanzini

Feel that Mikhail Antonio is more than deserving of a chant.

It all seems a bit 'empty' when he scores.

To match his character, think a straightforward chant would suit.

So have come up with:-

Oh, oh,oh he's magic!

Mikhail Antonio!

To the tune of Pilot's 'Oh, oh, oh it's magic!'

Based on the Nolan chant from a few seasons ago

When I see you Lanzini, I go out of my head
I just can't get enough
I just can't get enough

When you play for the West Ham and mug the full back of
I just can't get enough
I just can't get enough

When we're playing the filth and you're running around the Lane
I just can't get enough
I just can't get enough

Man, Manuel
Man, Manuel
Manuel Lanzini
I just can't get enough

One, two, West Ham's coming for you.
Three, four, better lock your door.
Five, six, got your crews to fix.
Seven, eight, gonna smash up mate.
Nine, ten, never going down again
