If he does, I’ll just post it to you every time he’s fit for us next season TOMOS, my old mucker.

Should cost me a maximum of about £1.74 in stamps.

Sounds like he might be our new Mido - if it’s a pay as you play, he’s gonna be looking at instantly downgrading from Epping to studio flats in Leyton

I would definitely take him on a pay as you play deal. It's just a matter of working out how much he would pay us to play.

Andy Carroll quits UK for rehab as injured striker looks to resurrect injury-plagued career

there's a "bubble" factoid....

Andy Carroll has missed 9 more games than he played.

151 - 142 (I haven't researched it, taken their word for it).

and some people still want him here.

madness.....

I am really struggling to see how any West Ham supporter would genuinely want him at the club in any capacity whatsoever paid or unpaid. He has been a disaster and when he has actually made it onto the pitch this season,he's been an embarrassment.I don't just think his days as a Premiership striker are done,I reckon his days as a professional footballer are done.I have no real ill-feeling towards him,I just want him to f*** off.

Relax mate, I don't think he will accept that deal, which is effectively like a zero hours contract

Sadly my last memory of the fella in c&b is him flailing about and being outplayed by a defence managed by Wally Downes

I’m aware he probably played more games for us after that, I was probably at them, don’t remember them.

Beyond the fellas injury problems (which I actually honestly have sympathy for him on), I think it’s overlooked that he looked absolutely ****ed as a footballer for us in his last 20 games. Not merely bereft of confidence, but like a player who simply did not belong at premiership levels.

And that’s actually being kind. Alarmingly for whoever signs him, he was outplayed by both Birmingham & Wimbledon’s 11.

For me it’s not about money. It’s about taking up a place in the squad with someone who ultimately you have to plan your season around NOT being fit because it would be reckless to assume otherwise. Thanks but goodbye.

He’s buying Rod Stewart’s old gaff, complete with full size pitch? What’s he going to use that for, then?

Might build a nightclub on it perhaps. He's probably spent more time in them than a football pitch over the years.

If he's prepared to accept a minimal basic plus appearance and goals bonuses then I'd keep him in the squad. He doesn't play or contribute, then we lose very little. He does prove his fitness and manages to score some vital goals, then we gain a lot having him as a decent alternative from the bench or as an occasional starter. There's really very little about that specialises in doing what Carroll does when he's bang at it. The way to beat difficult Teams when plan a isn't working is turning to a plan b that's completely different. No one is better in the air.

He's earnt handsomely off the back of West Ham, so playing on terms ideal for us isn't asking much and would be time to pay something back after all the care and money we've given him since he's been here.

Up to you, wor Andy lad.... if that's not acceptable to him, then tata all the best for the future.

why ever would ANYONE in their right mind want to keep him around.

he still hasn't recovered from his latest injury. yet another ankle operation.

he has missed more games (9) than he has played. averaged about 13 games a year in minutes on the pitch. and another year older.

:? :?
