Re: Welcome Antonio
Different position but reminds me of marlon harewood loved it when we got him and thought done a brilliant job as well so can't wait to season this bloke play for us don't think Slav and board will fork out 7m if they didn't see something there
Re: Welcome Antonio
Sounds very much like Moses to me lol I think that if this guy turns out to be really good we won't bother signing Moses full time as he will be our main man but if he isn't quite there he will be a decent sub

Love the interview with him on sky in car, seems a decent bloke and very happy to be part of the squad and very positive saying about Slav

Exactly what i came on here to say, seemed a far cry from what we perceive most footballers to be like nowadays, sounds like a top bloke.reo_coker20 wrote:Love the interview with him on sky in car, seems a decent bloke and very happy to be part of the squad and very positive saying about Slav

Re: Welcome Antonio
Love the way as players try to get near him on the ball he brushes them aside with the back of his hand like someone trying to get to the counter at a sale in a furniture shop "Get outta my way"

Re: Welcome Antonio
Speaking to a few Forest fans at work, they rate him very highly and see him as their main attacking outlet. They also say he's very hard working which he'll need to be as it seems Bilic doesn't tolerate laziness very much. The only bad thing I've heard is that he does have a heavy touch sometimes although hopefully that can be improved with good coaching.

Pretty much what I've heard too. Some try to brush over his loss, but most seem very sad to lose him.Burnley Hammer wrote:Speaking to a few Forest fans at work, they rate him very highly and see him as their main attacking outlet. The implication being he has never had good coaching.Burnley Hammer wrote: The only bad thing I've heard is that he does have a heavy touch sometimes although hopefully that can be improved with good coaching.
I doubt that very much, I also doubt if his touch will improve that much, you either have it or you havent by his age.
Still you never know I suppose.
Am also not sure if he is a starter yet.
I see him for now as a late sub when the team looks tired, launch the ball in his direction and let him run and run.
A powerful bloke like that should be pretty hard to knock off the ball. Just what you need late in a game.

I don't know if most of you are old enough but I think if this bloke could be the new Cyril Regis

Well that's hat he said on his interview. He never had proper technique coaching as he's clawed his way up from non-league and that his technique is only starting to catch up recently and is still developingmushy wrote: The implication being he has never had good coaching.

Re: Welcome Antonio
I'd say we are all thinking another possible/probable Cresswell here.
Imagine if this is so

Re: Welcome Antonio
The two forest supporting mates i've spoken to both reckon he has got the ability to make the step up! Looking forward to seeing how he goes!
Re: Welcome Antonio
A Sheff Weds supporting mate has noticed that the fourth picture on here

is Jermain Johnson, not Antonio.
(Otherwise, I'm quite happy with this signing.)
