If you're down the bottom end I'd go from Pudding Mill lane back to Stratford
In the Booby Moore Stand at the other end!

I usually go from International but am visiting friends out in Essex after the Sheff U game so will need to go from Stratford main station.

The train I need to get is 17.09, am assuming I will need to shoot off early - when do the old stop go brigade start on or around the bridge? Would it be quicker going around to International and entering Westfield there and walking through?

Cheers in advance.
I would go via PML. I can leave block 113 at the final whistle and can sometimes catch this train with a run throught Stratford. I would say leave at 16.40 to be sure

My first visit to the bowl since May 2017.

20 mins to get passed security at about 2pm and even more surrounded by tourists once in the ground than before. Carpet seemed to be the only improvement.

Still can't stand the place but was nice to see some old faces and have a catch up. I'll go again maybe 6th Rd of the FA Cup will tempt me.

The mega expensive roof provided no protection from the rain in the BML on Saturday. I'm in row 19 and I noticed that even the walkway behind the BML was getting hit by the rain too. My old seat in a similar elevation in the BML in the Boleyn only ever got a bit damp on the most atrocious of days.

However there was the comedy value of a couple of guys drying their hair in the hand driers in the toilets and being told to man up by everyone that saw them.

Whilst I was in said twenty minute queue I actually had a look at the ground and it is looking very tired already, all the steel work is filthy and there are are lot of rusting panels around top, some rust even showing on steelwork........

Can't see it being any good in ten years time, without maintenance which is obviously not being carried out it will be even more of a dump.

Having had to put up with the stinking bogs in the Rio Lower for the last three seasons at UP I expect our next level move to have a better maintenance plan even more so as we are tenants!!........ :thdn:

Several Sheff Utd fans reporting that they had seats in the home end on Saturday. Also in that forum. Spotted whilst curating this week's OV.

UTJ.Hammers United have written to the club twice about this now.The club maintain their procedures are adequate.I suppose we will have to wait for an incident until they do something.Man U didn't score. When Spurs,Arsenal,Chelsea or Liverpool do it could be worrying. We can do no more until the club eventually agree to meet us.All correspondence has of course been sent to the Premier League and FSA.

Been going on for long enough now with very few incidents. Nothing will happen.

First 6th round game I saw was the 3-2 win over Burnley (very good team at the time) in 1964. IIRC we came back from 1-2 down. Also remember I saw the 2-0 win at Highbury in 1975 and the 1-0 win over Villa in 1980. Great memories as we of course went on to win the cup on each occasion. Loved my football back then. Think I go now more because of habit rather than anticipation of exciting football.

Ain't gonna last 99 years that's for sure. Another 10 of that without money spent which won't be.
