At West Ham? None, that's the problem. We're the only PL club without an ISA or trust

Not trying to be rude whatsoever, but what is the membership fee for?

A membership fee of some kind has to be charged or the ISA/Trust isn't seen as genuine by the FA and the clubs.

That's a fair question

Its not going to raise much but what we do get will be going towards covering costs such as printing and website hosting.

Most of he ISA/Trusts charge about £10 a season but we want to build as broad membership base as possible

Its also a level of commitment and shows that members are serious and they care, if we can go to the club and say we are backed by xxx paying members I think that gives us more credibility.

But please, can you fix the motto? It's "semper", not "sempa". Call me pedantic but it'll do my head in every time I look at it if it's wrong.

I put that on the WHUISA comments' section, the motto should correctly be Fortuna semper latentes. If I remember correctly from my latin lessons...

I was going to mention the verb too but thought better of it cos there's arguably a few different ways of saying it. But "se celat" probably isn't the best.

Anyway, George is aware. And I bet he wasn't expecting too many Latin geeks to be on here.

If you scholars can agree the right wording that would be nice.

The Latin wasn't my idea, I studied it for three years until I was 13 and I didn't like it then and i don't like it now!

The old phrase still rings true

"Latin is a language as dead as dead could be, first it killed the Romans, and now it's killing me"

Not sure I count as a scholar but here goes ...

"Fortuna semper latescit"

It's definitely "Fortuna semper". As for the rest, a few different verbs might be OK but latescere is probably the best. So third person singular, third conjugation gives you "latescit". :scarfer:
