Have heard others say that this lacks ambition, but I'm happy to sign him. Proven quality, right age, right experience, gives us a boost in depth and quality.

Season
Club Apps(Subs) Goals

2016/2017

Hull City 20(1) 7

2014/2015

Hull City 1(0) 0

2013/2014

Norwich City 30(1) 6

2012/2013

Norwich City 37(2) 6

and because his name is so 'odd':

The family name Snodgrass is said to originate from lands in the parish of Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland, known as Snodgrasse, or Snodgers, at a bend in the River Garnock at 55°38' north, 4°42' west, which were rented out in plots. Both forms are recorded in Ayrshire and in Glasgow between the 13th and 16th centuries.

The name means "smooth grassy place" in Northern Middle English.[1] In 1528 a charter from the King lists the lands of "Snotgerss" as being one of the confirmed possessions of Hugh, third Earl of Eglinton;[2] the next record seen of the name is in the late 17th century.

Smooth grassy place, apt.

Bit of a moneyball signing for me.

So long as our next few signings are in the 22-26 bracket the age of Fonte and Snodders isn't a problem.

Solid signing. People turning their noses up and saying 'signings like this won't take us to the next level', need to remember west ham of the last 10 years, not just last season.

This signing certainly does feel like one we would have made in the past 10 years

Um, this is yet to be confirmed right...?

I appreciate that to pass the WHU medical, all that is required is no sign of leprosy / walk unaided from the car park to the medical centre but can't help thinking this is jumping the gun

Jack just Tweeted it.

Think the topic has been done to death in the transfer thread, but I think this is a good move.
