From a league position, at this stage, neither am I although I think Pellers can take us further given the chance.BondsoBob wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 4:50 pm Just as a point of interest, results wise, are we happy with MP or not? Although I am one of his biggest advocates (and couldn't wait to see the back of David Moyes, because of his brand of football) I'm not entirely convinced that we would be in a much different position if we had stuck with DM.
The big difference though is the 'acceptance' from the fans. Let's face it, we're not winning the league or probably finishing top 4 with either Moyes or Pellers but the latter has a certain 'gravitas' that Moyes did not.
One thing I do wonder for no sensible reason, is who would have managed us if Moyes had failed in his primary duty to 'keep us up'.
FWIW I think Pellers will comfortably get us upper mid/ 6th, by the end of the 3 years and leave one way or the other, and whilst keeping him long term would be the sensible option, this is West Ham we're talking about.
just my opinion
