I quite like managers that try plan b or c during the game rather than after each run of games.

Great result for the manager today - there’s life left in the old dog yet!

It's hard to overstate how important Antonio has become to Pellegrini, and how much difference it makes when the goalkeeper doesn't chuck a couple in his own net every game.

Heads still need to roll in regard to what went on with the summer signings.

Great result. All we needed was a keeper... and Antonio. I also thought Rice was fantastic.

I thought Fornals (for all his previous faults) put in a monster shift today for the Team. He was everywhere and more than played his part in that win against those **** away.

Credit where it's due. Made some very unpopular changes - according to the nonsense I read on social media ahead of the game - and it worked.

That's taken the heat off for a while. Let's hope it continues.

Fabulous performance that leaves me even more bemused as to the previous few weeks :?

Onwards and upwards from here with a bit of luck.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Pelle as loud and demonstrative on the side line as he was today. He was obviously feeling the pressure today. He got the job done though.

I knew the players would respond after seeing Pellegrini’s last interview. First time I saw real emotion and I think that would have carried over to the team.

So happy for him and really happy that he has been able to stick his 2 fingers up to me as I was one who doubted him. Never expected this performance in a million years.

I mean even Balbeauna was immense today.

Not having Roberto in between the sticks was probably key.
