Fair play I never see this one ever crossing the line
But now I'm excited to see what the fella brings to the table

Fingers crossed he’s a success. A huge amount of money for a club like ours.

Welcome Felipe! Can’t wait to see this chap play.

This is a far cry from January. Moyes. Hugill. 10 men behind the ball and break.

It's impossible to not get excited about a signing like this; at the attacking end - before any departures, granted - we're looking good and I'm excited to see this lad play.

If we can get one or two more in, especially with defensive midfield in mind, I would say that we're looking like a much better squad this year. And an 11 on the pitch that is going to try and look after the ball more.

It was a close shave, but we've finally got our Brazilian.

People are starting to notice, had a chat with some scouse (red and blue) work colleagues they are both impressed and shocked with the names we are being linked with and the money we are spending. Still waiting for us to announce the sale of half the squad though.

Can the season start now??

Also - Sullivan wanted us to know of his involvement  :

"I want to thank the owner, David Sullivan, because he made a big effort to bring me here. I know how difficult it was, so I have to thank him a lot, and I hope I can repay his faith in me on the pitch with goals and winning games."

Fair play to the board, they've pulled out the stops this window.

We are probably a midfield destroyer away from having a VERY strong first 11 and a decent squad. It will be great watching us actually attack with real pace this season.

Tidy. Hopefully he hits the ground running and becomes the legend he wants to become for us.
