I would also add that priority points shouldnt be given for these matches either (and especially not home matches).

Why[/quote]

Well firstly I'm not a fan of the ballot because I don't think it actually addresses the issue of fans being able to get to away games and build PP....it's like trying to become a multi-millionaire by winning a tenner on the lottery every other weekend........no one gets that much luck............secondly, and this has been said many times on here, I don't think somebody who was prepared to put the miles in travelling should risk missing out due to a smaller allocation and it simply being easier to get to.

I've got 7 points, been to all the cup games this year, apart from the two Wimbledon games, won Arsenal and Chelsea ballot tickets, and have applied for all other games

i've tried to get the points, but i cant. The ballot is a good idea and is fair. I'll also be doing the automatic cup tickets for next year to get double points, so that i might finally be able to get to the points levels that means i can get Man Utd, Newcastle or Spuds tickets without having to apply for a ballot, or buy them off people with High point amounts that have only bought them to maintain their points totals.

I think the Spuds game has gone to ballot?

I went to log in on the eticketing site and I could apply for a ticket - I'm on 27 points so was checking to see if it still said on sale to 28 points which was 3pm today I think?

Anyone confirm as it doesn't say on the West Ham website?

Cheers

I’ve heard the ballot is open.

If it sold out at 28 then top marks to Watford Ammer who was spot on with his spreadsheet!

I'd predicted -

Chelsea sold out to 25 (before ballot).
Add 1 point each for Chelsea & Man Utd that most will have bought.
Add 2 for extra demand of new stadium & Spurs
Add 1 for Sully's mates
Add 2 for extra corporates who'll want to go and Karren says fine

That makes 31.

Given the two games since Chelsea were sold and the extra demand for Spurs it doesn't look as if as many tickets have been syphoned off as we feared.

Just got Spurs tickets in the ballot for me and my son, our only success for a London / nearby game. Bid for all aways except Liverpool due to work commitments, Newcastle as I couldn't log on and Man City due to ridiculous train fares and my son having school. Managed 4 other games, Everton, Leicester, Burnley and Wolves (gave son day off as we got home at 3am!). All in all I am fairly pleased with the amount of games we got, haven't done many away days since Pardews days in the Championship so I am grateful for the 5 we did manage, knowing plenty of you regulars have missed out. The ballot is good for some of us and may help us build up decent PP's over a few seasons and next season I expect to apply for at least 75% of away games and take what I get even though I don't drive.

Hi Leyton,
How are you made aware if you have been successful in the ballot?

Hi cliff99claret

I received an email confirming I was successful in the ballot. At the beginning of the season I got an email telling me if I had tickets or not for all the games I balloted for, then they stopped and I had to phoned the ticket office to find out, also the 1st 2 away matches I was charged child's price for my son but then they charged me adult fare for him (he is 14) and I had to claim it back, so they seem to be a bit hit and miss in the Ticket Office to say the least!

Except you haven't tried as hard as a lot of other people have you?
Otherwise (as has been proved on here several times) , you could have started last season on 0(zero) points and now be in the mid 30's.
Nevertheless, you think it's fair that someone who hasn't tried to do a damn thing will get a ticket above someone else that has worked their socks and wallets off to get to a decent points total. And I repeat, you also could have done this.
By your logic as well, they should do away with away season ticket holders, all priority points and all tickets should go to ballot.
There is nothing fair in that at all.
Good luck though.

What’s everyone’s points prediction for Watford then? 2 of us on 37 pts and 2 on 36pts. Do we risk waiting for the 36 window to sit together. I called the TO and they reckoned 32/33 but seems low to me.

I believe there's less than 200 tickets left until it goes to the ballot, although that's not 100% fact. I've had to dive in for two of us and I'm now hoping I can get the third at 3pm today on 37.

Is that based on every bondholder taking a ticket?
