Also the guys behind it are always there for Hammers needing help particularly at away games. Who would you rather rely on, someone like Chas or Jake Heath (assuming he was there in the first place) They don't get paid for any of that. I just think what they offer is of interest to West Ham fans and would be a good reason for someone to visit this site to see when boats / coaches are running.
Well said Kialos

In regards to donations, I know that over the last year they raised over £2k for one of the causes that was close to a lot of Hammers hearts, and another £400+ for Parkinsons

Well said Kialos
Totally agree, Dennis,Bill & Chas do more for charity than most that’s for sure,
& as you say are always there if needed!

Agree with all above.

Certainly the message I heard (and seem to remember the post) was that Kumb wanted to charge HC to advertise on here.

There's really not much point asking for a charitable donation when they do so much anyway.

They offer a great service and you know you're going to be looked after if you get in trouble (I saw it with my own eyes when someone collapsed at an away game and got help)

I know this to be the case as well its just not something the organisers shout about so if your not on the boats you wouldnt be aware.

They collect for the causes not the publicity.

Can't see why the boat trip organisers would need to make a further charitable donation when they already do so. If the boats sell out on a regular basis making a further donation to advertise on here seems a bit pointless as it would come from the donations made to the other causes.

In which case I'm happy to set the record straight. As will Gnome, if you don't wish to take my word for it.

Priority points are starting to get adjusted, so I guess we must be getting close to details for Brighton and Watford.

I checked through my points and so far they have only deleted ones earned for away games - I've still got 2 points from home cup games in 2017/18 (Bolton and Shrewsbury)...

Using this:

I count 22 (19 league, 3 cup that are not AFC Wimbledon)

Brighton I think will be fine, unsure about Watford given the allocation.

I'm down to 14 now so could be struggling this year.

If I can't get aways i will dump the season ticket and just pick and choose and save hundreds of ££ at the same time.

You will be fine on 14... if you think Tottenham went down to something like 28 last season? With the highest points total being 40+ at the time (someone will probably correct me on those numbers).

I know of two people that now have away season tickets that they didn't have before.
I don't think they were even on the waiting list.
I wonder what our AST numbers are now?

Any idea how buddy . I have been on the waiting list for about 3 years . When I renew my season ticket I always make a point of asking what position I am in the away waiting list , In 3 years I have gained 15 places , that’s it

They are being understandably coy with the detail. However I do know that they have boasted before of having a ticket office contact.
It may of course be that they have taken over someone elses tickets and are paying them money to pass them over.
I will find out more soon (hopefully).
I share your outrage.

At the end of last season Watford sold out to 10 points below the maximum available.

Towards the start of last season Arsenal sold out to 13 points below the maximum.

If you’re close to max points and you keep that up as the season goes along you should be able to buy every game.... even Bournemouth drops a few below the max you could have.
