I joined Instagram for the first time the other week. Added a few of our players, and I get the impression there's a real buzz about the place, good cohesion between the new players etc.
Could do with another signing, but this has been the most positive I've been ahead of season kick off for a long time.

New manager and some decent new signings, we ought to be a bit positive now - I know it feels odd.
We can always allow the usual bitterness and despair to creep in later

Legitimately excited about what Anderson, Yarmolenko, Arnautovic and Hernandez can do this season

I haven't looked forward to the upcoming season so much since '86 - '87

I think the thing to be most positive about is the improvement of the organization as a whole. Pelegríni has forced the board to chang things, and to move on from the archaic ways of Sullivan a and Gold’s ideas of how to run a football club. In addition to the playing staff he demanded a lot of improvements to the training facilities. Also listen to Terry Westley’s interview on the OS, it is a breath of fresh air and the first time I have heard a long term professional plan articulated.
