Another pleasing signing and an upgrade on the player he's replaced (Hugill). His stats are fantastic so it's strange how he has been so out of favour with Arsenal.

Welcome Lucas!

Welcome Lucas.

Now go out there and show The Arsenal what they've let go for such a small fee.

Arsenal fans seem to really rate him and his stats are great. An upgrade on Hugill, surely?

Fair play, sounds positive enough. Now score us a pile of goals and win us the bloody CUP!

Throw from Fabianski to Wilshire, who takes it up field, slides it through to Perez who's through on goal and scores in the 95th minute. West Ham beat Arsenal at the Emirates

Welcome Lucas.

A player who definitely knows how to find the back of the net, good finisher.

Hopefully gets a run in the side and can impress. Would love seeing Arsenal TV go into meltdown when he scores a late winner against them at the Emirates.

It takes far less than a Perez winner at The Emirates for ATV to go into meltdown!

From the OS ... "Lucas scored in seven successive La Liga matches for Deportivo La Coruna between 30 October and 19 December 2015, including goals against Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Barcelona, to equal a club record set by the Brazilian forward Bebeto in the 1992/93 season."

So can't be too shabby. Sounds like an upgrade on Hernandez to me.

Reminds me of the John Hartson deal - quality player who just couldn't get enough game time at Arsenal and we've got him for much cheaper than should have been the case as a result.

Don't try to kick Chicharito's head off in training and you should be a success, Lucas! :scarfer:

Welcome Lucas!

We are not, and do not want to be Arsenal. It's not all about winning but it is about entertaining. Remember that and you could be a cult hero..
