Will always remember going to arsenal and seeing someone with "NARSI" on his shirt.

Don't care much about this signing and I don't expect much either.
But there is not much risk and I certainly wish him well. Go proof me wrong!

He's ours now so we will get behind him ... just sad that we are still going with this short-term, expensive, gap plugging transfer strategy ....

Another player who will do nothing for our long term 'next level' ambition ... if we still have one ....

Helps plug the short term problem of Lanzini and yarmo being out for a few months yet?

In terms of credentials, he is one of the best we have ever procured.

He is a cracking player and clearly put a shift in to get fit over last couple of months to get fit.

Not sure how anyone can have an issue with this signing IMHO

I really cannot see a downside to this deal. 6 months to see if he is worth a longer term commitment while being the type of player we have lacked with Lanzini and Yarmo out. Creativity wise we rely pretty much totally on Anderson.

He WAS a great player but we have no idea what player we will get. I guess we have had our fingers burnt a few too many times with these types of signings. With expected relatively high wages comes high expectations I guess. We should all wait to pass judgement but past experience has shown we are right to show some level of doubt and cynicism. And with flair /temperamental players comes frustrations as opposed to grafters. I have low expectations but expect him to have some impact.

Either the absolute perfect attitude for this situation or he needs to run for political office.

Loving this signing to be honest. Sublime passer of the ball and just an intelligent footballer.

That interview. Chuffed.

Pell was talking to him months ago - it's his signing not Sullivans, so I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what he'll be getting. The guy has got himself fit in a month and with his passing and dribbling ability he may well make the difference.

The guy has a good record with lack of injuries, has been rested for a year and is hungry to get back into playing football again - these factors make me think he'll be an excellent signing. We have believe it or not signed some very decent older players ... Pearce, Winterburn, Fonte, Payet to name just a few - I think we all get a bit nervous with older players but for me you need to look at their fitness levels and injury records. Willshere is probably one of the few players most said we shouldn't sign, but Nasri isn't in that category.

Looking forward to seeing him tomorrow evening at some point.

Excellent interview and very good signing. Jesus, some people need to wind there neck in. Around the time Man City paid 25 million for Nasri we we were signing John Carew on a free. No brainer signing and I wish him all the best.

The article on his time at Sevilla is interesting. He played as a deep lying play maker which is what we've been missing. Someone with genuine quality on the ball in the middle.

He's going to take a few games to settle in so let's get behind him and give him a chance.
