The bit that got me about that saga was all summer their Chairmen McC*be was slagging us off calling us cheats but the Egg man stayed silent. As much as I hate Sullivan and Brady they would at least gone back at McC*be.

Eggy was in no position to have a go at anyone...

He was too busy watching his money and assets disappear like an Icelandic iceberg..

Going to be tasty. Lot of simmering ill feeling up their in a minority, while most are accepting of what happened and glad a new bar was built with part of the proceeds.

The minority will make it an uncomfortable day out though.

Same here, hate his horrible little whiny voice, always sounds as if he's about to cry. Him, McCabe and Dave Whelan spouted ridiculous comments at the time. Still hate all 3 with a passion today. West Ham should never have had to pay Sheff Utd. They beat us 3-0 (iirc) with Tevez in the team. If the result was the other way around perhaps they might have had a case.

I agree - they won’t have the wherewithal to stay up and will be nailed on to get relegated next year. They don’t have any quality players to keep them up.

I'd rather this lot in the PL than Fulham and Huddersfield if I'm being really honest.

Me too. Always saw them as a ‘proper’ club with passionate support. Now we’ve got the frisson of an additional rivalry too.

Does it still wind them up when you ask them where all the money they pocketed from us went?

Same. I'm more than happy to give them both barrels back if they predictably pipe up getting the cob on about Tevez, but other than that I didn't used to mind them and liked what they're generally about. I'm sure the bitter relegation b*llocks will overshadow any good will though. Shame as I regarded them as one of those 'proper clubs'.

Just hope and pray they don't blame/sue us again should they get relegated again so soon. :arry:

Sheffield Utd secure promotion via fixed result!

The result ended Leeds's hopes of automatic promotion but confirmed their spot in the play-offs - where they could face Aston Villa again.

It also confirmed Sheffield United's promotion to the Premier League.

Typical dirty Leeds. I really hope they miss out on promotion.

Although I don't feel sorry for Leeds, but finding a way to lose 2-1 at home from a 1-0 leading position and then miss a penalty to make it 2-0 against 10 man Wigan and then lose 2-0 away to Brentford, takes some doing.

Like everything he touches, they were victims of “the Colin affect”

The fella can never accept he’s not good enough to manage in the premiership

T'would be great if we could send them down. T'would be even better if the entire squad wore number 32 shirts in the warmup.
