There seemed to be big hopes over this kid so surprised we haven't seen/heard more of him. He's already 21. Was beginning to wonder whether his time had passed. Hopefully not the case.

I'd give him a start against Oxford.

21 is no age now. Statistics show the number of minutes players of this age or less play in the Premier is minimal and usually most are confined to the real “talents”, the likes of Rice, Rashford etc. He also has the problem of playing in the position usually earmarked for our best attacking players, the likes of Anderson, Lanzini, Yarmolenko etc.

Going to need a squad space next season so he must show he can develop but equally there are players who have spaces who we might well be moving on.

I hope he gets a few cup starts (do not subscribe to “the must play your strongest side” argument as for me these are chances for the staff to see the younger players in a more competitive arena). Would also like to see 1 or 2 of him and say Coventry, Johnson on the bench for Premier games as 10-20 minutes here and there would also help.

Well, Pellers ain't afraid to play the kids, so Holland will defo get his chances if he thinks he can make it.

I wonder if he could make the subs bench on Monday. him or wilshere I reckon.probably wilshere.

he is one of a group of players that we will have to make decisions on in the next year; diagana Holland Johnson Coventry powell Cullen silva
all offer something but the question is whether its enough for a top 8 premier league team ?

I think diagana Johnson and possibly Holland may make it.

time will tell.

I may well be wrong, and this is just one person talking, but I can see him being the new Leo Chambers.

He was the most hyped up youngster we had a few years back - even captained England at his age group.

Some either just fall away or just don’t get the chance due to injuries at points when they would’ve made their debut etc.

He’s been doing well so far this season, I’m sure he will get some 1st team game time as the season progresses.

Not sure we will see many youngsters on the bench Monday though. The U23’s have a big game against West Brom on the same night.

I know he had some injuries but Leo Chambers fall so far down the football pyramid is a strange one

I thought it was reported somewhere that Pellers didn’t want him out on loan as he wanted to see him training on a daily basis?

Seems like the boss will use him this season
