I was gutted in 2006 Cup final but proud how we played. And proud of our fans who didnt leave at final whistle.

Well if we’re to rely on Alli and Kane on Wednesday against the Dutch, on tonight’s performances, we’re in trouble.
Danny Rose however played well I thought.

Congratulations to Liverpool for winning nothing.
Hope we win nothing soon, looks bloody brilliant.

Yeah I thought Rose was very good, probably Spurs most creative player on the night.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Kane miss out next week, clear after tonight he is nowhere close to being match sharp.

Bad luck, Modern. Can't really say 'pool were that much better than you.
You had a great semi-final 2nd leg.

It really was. In my honest opinion, it's the worst way to lose, not turning up at all. I'd have hated us losing like that if we were in a Final. Rather go out all guns blazing and at least giving it a right proper go.

I wonder if he's put in a claim for Origi's goal yet...

See they put Owen between Rio & Hoddle so that the thick c*nt couldn't punch Hoddle in the chest again..

Aye, they did amazingly well to actually get that far. I can't see them getting back there any time soon though. It's always the hope that kills you, as the saying goes.

really? what are you proud of from tonight? liverpool were absolutely there for the taking and could barely string two passes together and you did absolutely **** all to exploit that until the last ten minutes, with a bit of a hopeful flurry that any fat sam team could've managed.

to comfortably lose the worst final in memory to a team that didn't even turn up is a very spurs achievement.
Proud they got to the final, proud they held their own fairly well against a good side. Not good enough maybe but they tried even at 2-0. I ask no more than that.

If West Ham got to a CL final you’d be proud of them and there is nothing wrong with that.

Thanks to all the people here who wanted Spurs to win or not be blown up by asteroids :)
