Pickford did brilliantly to save that...

you can see why Stones ended up on City's bench..

Given that they have the ball 80% of the time, how **** a defender must he be to get dropped?

Stones is a terrible defender. Stealing a living at this level.

Sterling 2 yards off, yet the play is allowed to go on due to VAR. what happens if a player gets seriously injured by the play continuing when it should have been stopped. VAR wasn't needed for that.

Chris Waddle: ‘England look fitter,’
Five minutes later: ‘Their legs have gone.’

To progress this England team need to learn either to see it out when they’re winning but playing under par, or to come back when behind. Could do with the latter right now.

I hope Stones gets hammered the way Rob Green did because that mistake is worse. He had plenty of time to pass back to Pickford or launch it long. That should be on he's career defining highlight reel.

This game has followed a similar pattern to the World Cup semi-final. Same old England.

You simply cannot trust evertonians. I blame Martinez for infecting Stones and Barkley with Defensive shitness.

Don’t think either of them covered themselves in glory there. You make the opposition work for a goal not set them up like we have tonight!
