He's so laid back he's almost horizontal. Try to look a bit interested son.
If he was anymore laid back, they'd harvest his kidneys!

I think we should revert back to playing Haller through the middle with Anderson and Antonio either side then they could form a formidable group that even Morten Harket would be proud of AHA, let’s just hope we’re not left Crying In The Rain tomorrow night

Far more involved tonight. Who’d have thought him having some help would benefit him this much, apart from everyone on here.

He's Teddy Sheringham, not Iain Dowie. Put some pace around him and it starts to work. :scarfer:

He seemed to have won everything in the air. Very obviously needs someone off him and Antonio is just the lad to do it. He showed he is a real talent but not the lion Arnautovic was. More of a team player which is beneficial...if used properly

Looked back to the Haller that we saw during the opening weeks of the season! No excuse not to have someone around him from now,

Looked a different player tonight. From minute one he looked up for it.

He needs someone buzzing around him, he's not a lone front man so stop playing him as one.

He was class tonight. Proves he isn’t a lone striker.

He played with a striking partner at Frankfurt and was immense.

Funny how most of us spotted that early on in his West Ham career.

Looked like the player we saw at the start of the season.

Thought he took the goal well as it wasn't an easy chance. Great header second half and good save by the keeper. Played in Fornals at start of second and he should have scored

Didn't look too chuffed with his goal🤣

Played well today - hope management deploy him properly going forward as him and antonio looked dangerous inna front two

Haller is clearly a good player, I don’t think many ever thought differently but he needs players around him.

I should give it a go as manager, even though Haller has struggled recently his best form came when playing in the same attacking line up as Antonio

When he scored he just turned away looking like it was no big deal, but just before the camera leaves him you see him break out into a relieved grin. Thought he was excellent tonight, finished very calmly, easy to snatch at that and sky it

I think Anderson and Yarma are supposed to support Haller in Pellers system. They are always caught in a defensive battle to be free though. Maybe why Anderson is not too happy. Much better having someone free to actually play off him. He looks the real deal to me.

His header second half would have been a fantastic goal is the keeper hadn't have saved it. As we all said, he is not a lone striker. Today he had no complaints having the somewhat frenetic Antonio alongside him.

The away support were very good this game.

His best work today aside the goal was what he did off the ball.

Have a look at his positioning when we were without the ball, look at Rice, and look at Noble. Then look at where Saints played the ball from the back.

Proper coaching at West Ham, who would have thought it ?

Amazing really ain't it.

Like every striker we've had in the last, literally forever, they don't look much good up front, isolated on their own. Much like every striker at every club bar about 4 in the entire world.

Pretty ****ing obvious really ain't it.
