Don't pick that hill to die on, SoCal. You'll be here for weeks just doing the same thing.

Can't see a clean sheet for us I'm afraid. 2-2.

I think some posters forget we support West Ham United !, yes we are capable of beating them but equally capable of being over confident & getting beaten by one of the less established Premier teams as we have done on numerous occasions. I go for a scoring draw & will be happy with it.

Has all the makings of a score draw but The Voices are insisting on -

Aston Villa 2 West Ham United 3

This is one of our most important games of the season for me, I despise Aston Villa and would like them to go straight down which is especially important because they got very rich owners who mean business like we saw in the summer transfer window.

3 points please West Ham !!! :crest:  :scarfer:
This please. My own view on villa, is that they deserve to spend their existence playing with Stoke in the first division.

Disappointing, error-strewn 1-1 for me. Since the dawn of time, we've never been consistent enough to keep good runs going and we ALWAYS **** up against "lesser" teams when fan confidence is running high. I'm too cynical to think we've turned that corner yet. Only glimmer of hope is that DL started the thread...

a few days extra for pelle to prepare them. important game this one as a win sets us up nicely for the mancs at home.
4 pts from these two games will show that we have turned a corner. 6 pts and we can start dreaming.

I have never liked Villa either and again I don't really know why.

This is a game that we probably would have slipped up last season. Coming off of the back of 2(3) straight wins, playing a newly promoted side, everyone expecting us to win, and then we screw it up.
How we play over the next few games (league cup included) will really show if we have improved on last season.

Mike Dean is ref, grealish to get away with murder, he'll injure one of our players without punishment then dive for a penalty

Unfortunately that's how I see this one going.

The day Mike Dean retires will be a great one for football.

Looks to me like ref's have started to get wise to that slimy b*stard. No love lost between him and Fredericks, though. Ryan did a naughty stamp on him in the Fulham/Villa play off final

we need to be beating teams like this if we are to progress and ultimately challenge for something.

Wesley v diop
grealish v rice
mings v haller

a few decent match ups for this one. win these battles and we will win the game.

hopefully no new injuries so full strength
fabianski
fredricks diop ogbonna masuaka
noble rice lanzini
yarmolenko haller Anderson

subs Roberto Johnson Balbuena Snodgrass fornals ajeti wilshere

only decisions are ogbonna or Balbuena. don't change a winning team so oggy gets the vote. on the subs bench zabaleta v Johnson. I have gone for Johnson as more pace and can cover both sides.

2-0 west ham haller x 2

I don't like them and I think it's because they stole our colour scheme.

I hope you're not implying that we lifted theirs NI, as that would be doing a disservice to Old Castle Swifts, Thames Ironworks and our own Ironworx and mushy's sterling research!
