Sadly, it would appear the new site is still accessible from South America..

Now that made me chuckle

Minor point. When coming to the end of a thread (on the phone) there is no link back to the forum that you were reading. Not a massive issue but it’s more cumbersome to scroll up to the top again, where the path of the forum has also been constricted.

I have the same on my iPhone, but turning the phone from portrait to landscape, the “Return to General Discussion” link appears.

Edit: and I’ve just noticed the “Jump to” menu where you can select a number of different forums

There you go Liam, as pointed out by Mick.

And if you're browsing the GD Forum (this one), you can also click on James Corden's testimonial in the (claret) footer right at the bottom of the page.

Not important in the grand scheme of things but I can't seem to find the full list of members that we used to have, has it gone?

Did you try the "quick links" => members button?

The only thing that bugs me is that when I view a news story from mobile (chrome) and I scroll to the bottom of the page I get "latest opinion" rather than "latest news". The old site used to toggle this based on if you were viewing news or opinion.

This is what you should be seeing via mobile/Chrome... this is viewing the site's current top story:

This is what I get as I scroll down a news story. You can see in the last picture that it has auto selected opinion rather than news.

Ok , I'm old so don't laugh if I'm not doing it right [ not the first time I've asked that question ] - but when you get to the end of a discussion on one particular thread and you want to go to another topic of discussion you could in the past click on ' Go ' , now I have to click on ' Jump To ' and scroll down until I find what I want - just seemed simpler in the old days , like yesterday morning .

Aaah , it was on the Left all along [ Go To General Discussion etc ] , took me about three weeks to spot it but I got there in the end .

I’ve now got used to this new one and it’s much better than the old one

I’d like like and dislike buttons.

Does anyone else get the “this website uses cookies etc” prompt every time they visit? I accept every time but I still get it every time on every platform. Any ideas on how to placate the cookie monster?

If you have your browser set to not accept cookies or clear cookies on exit for example, this may well happen. Delving into the settings and making an exception for KUMB should fix it.

Ok. I’ll see if that’s what’s happening but I haven’t set any device up to not accept cookies.

It's the only way it'll happen.
