Are there plans to bring out an app for the forum? Or is it not worth it?

Yeah that would be good, reading the KUMB forum on a mobile is hard work.

Great new lay out UTJ, impressive on the PC/Laptop. Well done :scarfer:

Janus, thanks for the pointer to text resizing. 110% is perfect for me on iPad and mobile.

Is there any way for me to add my own quick links somewhere? I’d like to skip the four clicks needed to get to General Discussion.

Perhaps we should move the user avatars back to the left-hand side of the page.

We added 3 settings to adjust your personnel font size on pc or/and phone, even bold is possible.

See user control panel => board preferences
ucp.php?i=165

Thanks for that. Of course it only does the forum but better than nothing.

I think the font(s) on the other bits of the site need to be bigger as does the main menu font. It could go up another 0.2 em no problem. The more modern design needs a bigger font. That's what I mean by fonts look 1999 !

Looking good, I especially like the layout of the news page.

Great work UTJ and team

I like it. I rarely use a tablet or laptop so the new mobile friendly format is great.

kudos to all of the team working on this !!!!!

well done....

can I ask a question and not being too tech savy I don't know if it's possible so please be gentle with me !!!

reading the story about the media "blackout" threat on the news page, at the bottom after the "story line" it says something along the lines "if you wish to post a comment" then gives the KUMB page link.

can it not link directly to the relevant article so one could post about the story directly, instead of tying to find the thread in the GD ?

cheers Boss (and any mod that knows the answer - more likely to be Bristol other than the other motley crew who probably couldn't find the on/off switch if it wasn't labelled)

There isn't always a relevant thread C - if you can't see one feel free to start a new thread and if it's a duplication, a mod will merge the two.

understood Boss..

but in this case there was - wasn't there ?

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=175655

had to look and it was on page 4.....

if there IS a relevant story as in this case, is it possible to link directly or difficult ?

just a question not wishing to be the proverbial pain in the arse (although many on here would say that I am so bloody good at it !!!)

I don't view this on a mobile so I can't tell you if it's good on that but on my 4K TV I use as my PC monitor it's unreadable.

It's too bright, the black on white makes it near impossible to look at for long and I've got a blinding headache now.

Is there anyway for non mobile, normal PC monitor users to go back to that lovely blue we had not so long ago?

I hate to be the only negative comment here as it's clearly a hit on a small screen but a large one it's not so good.

Ah, fantastic! Just copy/paste a twitter or YouTube link straight in - either from your browser or from a dedicated Twitter/YouTube app, and up it comes. Just like proper, modern forums! :scarfer:

Ooh, and Amazon links, too! Swanky.

(Apologies, just indulging in a bit of hot sandbox action. Seeing what's what)

@ HammerSaints And if you set the fonts to "bold" in your users control panel?
