Can't believe lanzini is missing. Any optimism I had has now drifted off. I've got my usual west ham pessimism sorry folks.

Hoping Fornals can do the business but can’t help thinking it’s a big blow. Lanzini not starting and Cresswell playing...

Missing Lanzini is gutting but Fornals is a perfectly capable replacement. Anyone that watched him play for Spain in the u21 tournament would of seen just how good of a player he is. Time for him to shine.

Lanzini is at least a player we have a lot of adequate cover for. Both Fornals and Wilshere have lots of quality. Time for them to shine.

So apparently Lanzini got injured on international duty but we decided to play him against Villa anyway. :?

Even with the injuries their starting XI isn’t too bad - but their bench is garbage.

Not a lot of game changers o the bench for us. Hopefully the starting XI can have us out of sight and we won’t need the bench.
James and Rashford are the main threats for them. Haller and Anderson for us.
