Weekend games Sept 20th-22nd

Post by Marky » Fri Sep 20, 2019 7:47 pm

Interesting game tonight which I see as a 2-2

As a side note I was told this week from a guy close to Jeff Mostyn this week that we are trying hard to get Ryan Fraser on a Bosman. Player wants Arsenal but Emery not keen. Deal involves big agency payment. He is on the the bench.

got in a little after kick off so I missed the first goal..

2nd goal was a cracker but quite rightly ( ) ruled out by VAR

no way the 2nd was being ruled out....

Soton might be in for a long season........

this score stays a win, B'mouth move up to 3rd !!!!!!!!!!!

Peller’s fetish for collecting endless attacking midfielders cracks me up.

Southampton look as blunt as a stress ball.

Would love to see them drop back into the lower divisions. Overdue.

but the midfielder (not sure who it was) who was tracking the player who crossed the ball...just stopped.

unacceptable.

a coming together I think on the penalty VAR..again, every coming together isn't a foul. every fall after contact isn't a dive.

So much for those 4 VAR mistakes being a one off error. Bournemouth not given a clear penalty.

Josh King is such a selfish player. Reminds me of Zarate.

West Ham U23’s have moved to the top of the Premier League 2 Division 2 after winning at Bishop Auckland FC stadium.
The Hammers youngsters are on unbeaten run of 15 games after beating Middlesborough U23’s 4-3 tonight in a thrilling game.
Hammers young winger Nathan Holland opened the scoring by curling in with just over 20 minutes played. The goal was just reward for a bright start for West Ham, who attacked with poise and purpose and had seen Holland and Anthony Scully go close in the early stages.

couldn't find a report on the official site so this is from * & *

Interesting - cheers
Doesn’t qualify as homegrown though unfortunately

In a fixture I’d usually hope Leicester would win, I hope they come away with no more than a point. We could well be battling it out with them all season for certain positions in the table.

All Soyuncu fault that, went bombing forward miles out if position, then even cocked up again, diabolical defending

Hope Spurs absolutely smash Leicester. They and their fans need a reality check and this may just be the game to expose them - even with the home advantage and a leggy Spurs from midweek exertions. It'll probably show up Leicester as being a one-trick pony, relying on Vardy to play off the shoulders. I don't think anyone else on the their team will be clinical enough to trouble the visitors. Expecting Spurs to score 2 to 3 in this one.

Only positive of a Spurs win is that it keeps us among the so called race for Top 6.

Goal disallowed for miniscule offside due to VAR, back to 1-1 and now 1-2. Heart bleeds for 'em.
